I think gamers shouldn't be divided by what platform they own, only by how ignorant and arrogant they are. Which Gamespot has done quite nicely, give them their own board.

its no more superior than consoles.It might be to you but when it comes down to pros and cons it has it issues aswell.Your just one of those kids so wound up in hardware and still of the keyboard and mouse ma lyfe lot bit like those straight edge guys at hardcore gigs who think they are superior but really are no better they just choose to live diffrently.

Doesn't that also depend on the muscle car, then? For the kind of money a Ram SRT would have cost, you could have bought a Cobra. I'd take a GT 500 over a hopped-up manure hauler any day.

I just want a pure-bred fun car to drive. My ideal car would be a Lotus Elise, but I'm about fifteen grand too short, and four inches too tall.

I can agree with this. On today's consoles I still get everything I loved about PC gaming, without a lot of what I hated.

On those occasions where I might need to, there's always the option of renting one. That said, you'd be surprised how much landscaping material fits in a Mini Cooper. I'm getting by just fine without a truck.

What sort of job do you have that requires 2x GTX 580s? Why spent so much money on expensive Razor items? Why buy 3 monitors and purchase a mounting device for them? That kind of setup is more for gaming especially with the GTX 580s instead of a normal workstation card. I wouldn't mind seeing a picture of that setup. Just wondering how it looks altogether. And it's obvious that you constantly bash PC gaming. Whenever someone on the PC side says something against consoles you are replying back but if someone says something against PC you are silent or encourage it. It's quite ironic.

Why would you want to play it with worse controls and less customization?

I hate mouse and keyboard for gaming. Dual Analogue is comfier and easier for me. Don't care bout customisation, game is good enough to stand by itself.

What sort of job do you have that requires 2x GTX 580s? Why spent so much money on expensive Razor items? Why buy 3 monitors and purchase a mounting device for them? What is also weird is that he puts an H60 in the list for cooling when that is low end for water cooling and there are much better alternatives for even air cooling. I would expect him to get an H100 instead if he was a Corsair fan which seems right since most of his hardware is from that brand. Also 850w is kind of cutting it close with his setup. It enough to power it all but most people with that kind of setup would prefer a higher watt PSU. Especially if they do any overclocking. PSUs degrade over time and their efficiency lowers. Having more wattage than needed is often good because of this and also it will run cooler. I myself use a 700W power supply just for one GTX 570 and an i5 2500k. Here is my computer. I tried to go for good use of space and cooling without breaking the bank.

Oopps sorry I misread that. For some reason I saw GTX 580s. Why would you spend so much money on devices meant for gaming if you do not really like to game on PC though? A software developer shouldn't need such things. What kind of software do you work with? And I don't think you would be mocked for what hardware you have. I still use my older computers that use a GTX 275, 8800gt and 6800gt. My even older builds like the Geforce Ultra 2, Voodoo 2 and ATI Rage are not used anymore but still run fine. You may be mocked on your build if you bragged about it being the best but I do not think you are that type.
