Why don't you game on PC? (READ THE OP!)

I prefer playing on my couch, with friends or family sitting and playing next to me, in front of my 55" Plasma, and with my Dynaudio Speakers,

And I don't want to build another PC just to to have inside the AV Cabinet

Use to, but last decade I found myself dropping $200 every year, upgrading some hardware. Then the games that enjoyed were seeing longer hiatuses between sequals, developers started creating for the console first. Now I can no longer find a game grounded in reality, everything is some fantasy **** Until a game comes along that wows me, and can only be played on PC, I'm sticking with whatever console has the best 3rd party support.

I feel the high price tag for a gaming rig is what drives people away from PCs. But I love mine so much idk if I can console game as much anymore

If I game on PC, girls stay away from me, but when I game on consoles, all the women now want me.

Console gamers value convenience over quality so they don't want to put in the extra effort. Some even complain about adjusting graphical options because they'd rather just pop in a game an play it on the equivalent of low settings in a sub HD resolution. BPoole96

I want to sit on my couch/chair and play video games from my TV.

1. Using a KB/Mouse from a couch sucks; and you need a KB/Mouse for PC only games. Multiplat PC games can be played with a controller - but most PC only games cannot.
2. PC only games have UI designed to be elegant and legable for a user sitting 18-24 inches from the screen - not 8-10 feet. PC only games are hard to play with things like mini-maps when they are designed for a PC.
3. I don't want a PC hooked up to my TV. That would mean I would have to have more than one (when I do thinks like VPN into work and everyone else wants to watch TV).
