A) Don't like the spec wars, and stopped a few years back.
Not necessary to the topic. Irrelevant.
B) Fell behind on hardware and didn't want to reinvest in updating my PC.
How far did you fall behind? To run new games at medium graphics you typically need a 5 year old system and the game still looks better than a console version.
C) Games felt reundant.
Define "redundant" in this context.
D) Finding 'Good' games was challenging.
Irrelevant. You can use the same methods you do to find good console games as you would PC games.
E) Consoles stepped up, served my purposes really well.
Stepped up in what way?
F) Too many updates, too many specific settings to run certain games.
Console games receive updates too. Your internet connection must be from the stone ages if this is an issue. You don't need to even touch a game's settings to run a game.
G) Don't like paying MMO fees and the better games at the times were based on that model.
Not relevant to the topic. MMO genre is optional, not the only genre there is and is not specific to the PC platform.
H) Friends are mainly Console players.
One valid reason.
I) Community was very negative at the time.
Irrelevant and untrue with no factual evidence or basis.
-Unreal-
Your comment on MMOs overrunning the platform is also unfounded and untrue.
