Why is the wii still $250 ??

do you honestly think sony would be able to put so much into the ps3 and sell it at a loss if it didnt make so much money from the ps2 last gen?

you can be certain that if the ps2 sold like the GC did, the ps3 wouldnt have anywhere near the amount of features or sold at a loss

But quality is all that matters. If people only cared about the sales instead of quality (not quanity, mind you), where would gamers be at? They would be totally mindless.

Are you seriously trying to convince me that the Wii has the more worthwile liabrary of must have titles over the 360 and PS3? Im sure you dont need me to waste my time and count out the A on gamerankings as well do I? we can do this dance all day.

if you have a ONLY a PS3 , you are playing double the AAA and AA games that Wii only owners are playing. Period.

If you have ONLY a 360, you are playing almost tripple the AAA and AA games that Wii only owners are playing. Period.

You can spin those numbers however you like, but if you are a Wii only owner, in the end of the day your playing less than half the AAA titles as us.

also, your console is completely overlooked by 3rd parties, and you miss out on the most important games this gen. Enjoy your novelty toy and Wii's sales.

In economics, there is a concept called supply and demand. Learn it.

MS and Sony are not giving out price cuts out of the kindness of their hearts; they are doing so because they are getting destroyed by Nintendo and have no other choice but to lower the cost of their consoles.

This should have ended the thread, there is no big science here, and while i think that $150 is a more reasonable price, the Wii keeps selling, so...why a price cut now?
