Why is the wii the laughing stock of the gaming industry?

Let's see here..... it's not HD even though that's the age of gaming we've been in since 2 years before it came out,HD TV and movie watching we're in is HD, it's small and under powered, it uses controllers that you have to wave around all the time, and it has 35 bad games to every decent game.

Well the proof is in the pudding and COD 4 wasn't even HD on the 360 or PS3. I don't think there was a single noteable 3rd party game that couldn't get released on PS2 hardware last gen.

There is nothing remotely like these on Wii hardware, not a glimmer

Yes, I did like Galaxy's graphics but they weren't its strong points, at least in my opinion because the gameplay was something that I never tried. I don't attack people when it comes to the Wii because what they say is misunderstood or invalid for the most part. I do admit that the wii has flaws, fanboys don't admit. Ever since the N64 and ps1 days, I never cared about graphics and I've been like that ever since.

Wii fans will argue that the wii houses many core games (which they would be right) but if you're not a nintendo frachise lover, that list is incredibly small. And the simple fact that the PS3 and 360 shares very robust 3rd party titles like MW2, Street Fighter VI, Final Fantasy XIII, Bayonetta, Bioshock, GTA VI, ect.. ect.. and the wii has imagine babies ( :| ), you can see why people chuckle a little.

The wii is a solid system. I'll never get one though. Consoles should have graphical updating imo. If they don't whats the point?
