not really. it's only lost three so far.
Halo 2 and Gears of Wars. What is the third? Please don't say Bioshock, because it was never exclusive to be lost as a exclusive. So whats is the third game? I don't keep up enough with the 360 to know the third. Halo 2 was a last gen game not 360 so shows ya Halo 3 is not going to PC anytime soon. Lost Planet, Viva Pinata, gears. If the average consumer doesn't have a 360 or a gaming PCbut isinterested in Bioshock which platform do you think they're going to buy? Odds are, they'll buy the 360 to play it.

I totally agree with that I hate it when hermits say " were getting all your games LOLZ" there are tons of 360 games that arent on the PC they just got lost planet (old) Gears of war (old) and viva pinata (old) so there basically getting are "best games" of last year. While we play are new games of this year.And PC gamers are playing more AAAEs this year as well, but you'll never get the option of playing it on your 360. So they get your games late, and you never get theirs. Poor hermits...
By the way, someone here keeps saying "what cows really have a PC that can play Bioshock?"...my laptop that I bought over a year ago almost meets the recommended requirements (I should add another gig of ram)....

True. thats only natural.[QUOTE="swanlee"]It's not OK because the majority of these people hiding behind the PC are PS3 owners that most likely don't have PC's up to date enough to actually play these PC games that were ported from the 360. They are simply using the PC in arguments against the 360 but in practice probably don't even play games on their PC. It's a pretty recent trend that coincides with the Failure of the PS3. COWS simply have nothing anymore they have gone through 2 years of getting hammered and have given up trying to defend the PS3 because it's a pretty futile battle. So now they look at the PC they are typing on in this forum as a way to try and down play the 360. Regardless if the game in on the 360 and only Plays on Windows on the PC it's a Microsoft Exclusive. Microsoft are promoting games for windows so they hardly feel threatened by PC gaming.DarkBunnie
Nope, you have missed the point.
It's not that PS3 owners NEED to buy a PC to play Xbox 360 games, but that option is available. It is the same for Wii owners. They can buy a PC and play Xbox 360 games without buying an Xbox 360.
That option however, is not available in reverse. Xbox 360 owners could spend a million dollars building the most powerful PC ever made, but they will never be able to play Wii or PS3 titles on it.
Therefore, each time an Xbox title hits the PC (Halo, Halo 2, KOTOR, KOTOR 2, Fable, Mass Effect, Halo 3, Gears of War) etc... Xbox players are "owned".
How are they owned - they still get to play the game. IMO Xbox getting alot of PC game is a good thing. That way i can use one platform to get the best of both worlds

Forget it Casey. It wont get into their minds. They want so much to believe that they are special by playing said game on X360, and not on PCs, that they wont see the truth. IT is a fact, that ifa gamecan beplayed whatever the game on a console and on PC, the gamer has a choice. IF he wants to play on a console, he's a console gamer, if its the PC he'll be a PC gamer. IT automaticaly takes a reason to buy a console. And thats X360 weakness (and I am not taking account of the failure issues it has, and I do not forget that either). People seem to assume that if a person owns a wii/ps3, they dotn need a 360 to play it because they can have a gaming pc.by the same token, they could just as easily have a 360 in the first place. I've never understood that.
How is hiding behind the PC ok. I think its not because
1- Its not on the perfered system of the one hinding behind the PC. thus arguements about 360 library vs said system arent suddenly null and void.
2- Cows and Sheep mention the PC but a good bunch dont have one, are they aloud to brag that they could play games somewhere else when they haven neither. It doesnt suddenly negate the impact of the quality of those games.
IMO its pathetic when the sheep and cows have to bring the PC into the arguement and not the system they want to brag about most. If anything it shows the PS3 and Wii owners need the powerhouse PC to actually make a legit claim about difference in library.
Im sorry but like u said it is system wars. SO how can cows and sheep take pride by hiding behind a different system thats not a PS3 or Wii. Its not ok to hide behind the PC, It shows the weakness in that specific consoles Library. IMHO.jg4xchamp
I completely agree. Its a sad excuse for a poor current library of games that is on the ps3 and wii and i have all 3. I play my 360 more than wii and ps3. The PC is a system and a valid system in this forum but its not ok for people that dont have a gaming pc to just hide behind it and try to make the other system look bad. The PC isn't competing directly with the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii. Its in a league of its own. The majority of gamers don't have a high end PC that they play games on.

t's do a statistical analysis. Hopefully most ofr you can follow:
Systems: A B C D
1000 games are out there. For argument sake they are all of the same quality
500 games are on all of the systems
(500 games left)
50 games are only on System A
40 Games are on only Sytem B
40 Gams Are on only Sytem C
70Gamesa are only on Sytem D
(300 Games left)
100Games are on systems A,B,C
90Games are on B and D
75 Games are on B and C
25 games are onC and D
10 games are on A and D
A= 50 exclusives 660 total games
B= 40 exlusives 705 total games
C= 40 exlusives 665 total games
D= 70 exlusives 695 total games
Which system has the advantage?

Has it ever occured to you that maybe they just prefer the exclusives on the PC? They were going to get a 360 or a PC largely based on its exclusives. If they only cared about multiplats it doesnt matter what system they want. For all we know, he was due for a new PC and figured he would just pour the $400 for a new Xbox into a better PC. That depends. For example, here in Brazil its cheaper to upgrade a PC to what you guys call a high end PC (Core 2 duo, DX10 Card and so on) than buying either the PS3 or a X360.
And I dont assume that all guys will have a high end PC on their houses, but PC gamers will, likely, have. And for all I know, some PC parts arent as expensive as some guys here think they are, specially in theUS. You guys have it cheap there.
Lets not forget that all games come with a minimum requirement to be played. Those are reasonably atainable (sp?) for 1, maybe, 2 year old PCs. So, those who want to play the same game dont really need to buy a console, but if they want to play it said game on the same specs/as beautifully as the console conterpart, then, a upgrade may be necessary.

Here we go again with this. If a pc is a pc, then its not a console. There for in the console world bioshock is an exclusive "CONSOLE GAME" to the 360 because you can't get it on the PS3. In the big picture looking at the whole entire market of gaming, you can get bioshock on pc or 360.
here we go again with this, indeed. so what it if it's not a console? it exists. it plays games.it counts. there's no way around it.
If its on PC and X360 why should I buy a X360 if my rig can run the game? "Oh, you'll need a high end PC to play on the same specs as the X360." Maybe, maybe not. My Core 2 Duo says it so.
Get over it guys. A game on PCs and whatever console its going out to is not exclusive.
But if a gamer doesn't have a high end PC and doesn't have a 360, why should they spend more money on a high end PC than get a 360 when they can play the same game on the 360 and pay less money just to play the same game.
Because if the game is a proper port it will be superior with better graphics, Mod community, customizability, the same if not better controls. They also open you up to the largest library of any platform in both the short and long term that the console will not get.. So I fail to see how this argument could be turned around with similar games, because the pc has more games that are higher rated on a scale thats tougher then consoles.
You really don't get what i'm saying. I'm saying if there is one must have game that you need to get and you don't have either a gaming rig for the pc or a 360. What do you think the average person will get. They will get a 360 due to it being cheaper in price. sirk1264
The world doesnt share your way of thinking. Dont push your opinion as fact of what other people do. We can reasonably assume that everyone has a PC but not a 360. They could just get it for their PC without having to spend any extra money on a 360, even if it doesnt look as great as it could.
[QUOTE="Timesplitter14"]In your face, Lems. And IMO a top-quality FPSgame like Bioshock sould be played on PC-wii60-
Thats where the PC comes into play :)
[QUOTE="spinecaton"][QUOTE="Finale-"]Lemmings, there is no such thing as a "console exclusive."-LegendaryLuck-
Goes for cows too, I don't know how many times I've heard "UT3 is timed exclusive to PS3!" when the PC version launches around the same time.
Exactly, it launches AROUND, the same time. Note the strain on the word AROUND.Isnt it the same day for the PS3/PC?
If a game is on both 360 and PC, it is not an exclusive, but it is still a negative thing for other platforms that don't have it and you can imo rub it in their face a bit. But if for e.g. Bioshock is console exclusive, then it's a PC exclusive as well, duh. Doesn't make much sense does it?
PC is still just as viable gaming platform as any other, price doesn't matter, after all it's not THAT much more expensive than for e.g. the PS3. I paid 650e for my 1st "Gaming PC", which is exactly what the PS3 costs in here. If a game comes out to 360 and PS3, it's not any different for 360 than if it were out for 360 and PC.
So, is it okay to hide behind the PC? ..I dunno... :| But everybody's doing it... In a way PC does take away exclusives from 360, but that still doesn't make PS3 any better.
