I'm really upset at Sony this gen. May be a long post.
-For starters, I'm on my 3rd PS3. My first two had YloD, now with my third one my controllers do not sync with the system, don't turn on, nothing. I've sent it in under warranty twice to receive it back twice not working. Now I'm being told if I send it in again I'll have to pay, or to go out and buy a new one. I've had terrible luck with my PS3s this gen, which is odd as I take extremely good care of my systems. Now my third is not working and is a paperweight, and I'm out another $300, for the fourth time. I've easily put over a grand, approaching two. I refuse to support them anymore and get treated like garbage in turn.
-The whole PSN security breach. Though I heard it was a rare occurrence after the breach, I did have suspicious activity on numerous accounts and attempts into websites at around a few weeks after it happened. Luckily no damage was done, but it was a hassle to deal with and I think it's a bit more than a coincidence. That they were using outdated security infuriates me enough.
-Various little things such as patch sizes or updates that are gigs large that take forever to DL when all I wish to do is pop in my game and play. It's a huge annoyance and makes me not want to turn on my PS3 at all. I also believe their controller is.....well, let's see.....three generations old and maybe, just maybe is in slight need of revision?
At present, I refuse to support Sony. If, if I buy another PS3, it will be refurbished or used from Gamestop and I will buy it with the sole intention of making sure Sony doesn't get a penny of my money. I would do this for games as well but I don't wish to deny the developers money for Sony's behavior. As I love games no matter what system they're on, I'm missing out on some great titles lately, but I'm livid from how Sony has treated their customers this gen. They've been extraordinarily arrogant yet have been unable to back it up.
