[QUOTE="Shinobishyguy"]even so there' still a benefit to having a second screen to display maps and inventories without having to pause the game. Plus it opens up alot of control possibilities.theuncharted34
I think it just sounds like another gimmick, liketheuseless motion controls; first there wasuseless motion controls, then bad, eye-hurting 3D, now there'sexpensive, useless screens on controllers. Expect another huge wave of shovelware utilizing just this gimmick.
most likely the only wii games you've played are games like cooking mama. and I'd wager you haven't even seen the 3ds in person yet, and lastly you have no idea what the price of these controllers will be. what about rumble? was that a useless gimmick? you know you have that because of nintendo right? what about analouge control? yep, nintendo.
just another day at gamespot...
No, I've played plenty of games on the Wii, however a lot of games make unnecessary use of motion controls and ends up dragging the game down. I have played the 3DS in person, it hurt my eyes after just a few minutes, and I don't, but if they have touch screens on them I'd imagine thye'd be more expensive than a standard controller. Rumble is a useless gimmick, I always turn it off, dual analog isn't.Not thateither of those matter to the conversation anyways, they may have been innovative, but as of recently Nintendo seems like they just dishing out lamegimmicks to draw attention of casuals.
