Wii Haters, STOP!!!!!!!!, this is getting pathetic!!!!!!!!!

I personally don't think anyone really hates the Wii.  I mean, how can you hate something that the kiddies adore.  It would be like hating Mickey Mouse.

The Wii is a cheap alternative to the 360 and PS3, when in fact graphic wise, it just don't compete.

The Wii control scheme is waaayyyy overrated, and only a few games really utilize the control well, as most other games seems just to be an add on, sort of the way the crappy PS3 controler is working out.

I solely contribute excellent Wii sales to 3 things.

First is that Nintendo fans have had to suck it up with the gamecube so long, that any new console they will buy in droves, especially if it has Mario and is dirt cheap!

Second is the price, there are more Walmart shoppers then people who pay extra for the extra's.

Thirdly, is HDTV adoption rates are still not the majority.  The Wii is riding the transition of SDTV to HDTV, and there are still alot more SDTV's out there then HDTV's.

To sum up, the Wii is sellling excellent because Nintendo fans are desperate for a new console because of the crappy gamecube, Nintendo fans are cheap, and since Nintendo fans are cheap, they most likely have a cheap SDTV.

I do know what PM'ing means, thanks for trying to help. I brought Pm'ing up because you forced what you thought upon when I didn't direct my post at you. PM'ing was brought up because I didn't really want to know what you thought in the first place, in whichcase I wouldn't have asked you in a place where other people can start to bash you for thinking something different.

Your post wasn't necessarily rude, but I would consider replying to a post not directed at you pretty rude.

Maybe this is way you expected a reply to your post of flat facts with no questions. I assume you expected a reply to this, even though there was no questions.

Get used to people responding to your posts that you post in a FORUM. If you want to post something with no reply, then use PM'ing. Is that clear for you?

I expected a reply to my original post because it was a debate and in which a rebuttle is normally required (already cleard up). Again you assume to much (I've said that twice alrwady, it shows the quality of you arguements). If I wanted questions answered, FAQs are extremely helpful.

I'm sure I've been here longer than you so I know how a forum works, and that last part also contradicts your previous posts. (Besides, even in PMs' I expect reply of the person I SENT it to).

It still doesn't dispute the fact that after wii sports, the next best wii game is on GAMECUBE.  And the next best 5 games are all minigames with the wiimote.  What else do you have, a crappy snowboarding game that could be on the n64 or a sonic game where you don't even get to control how fast he runs?

You can argue about all the insignificancies you want, the wii has no good games and you are a fool to spend 250 on it.

How about the guy who made the thread, 'So I returned my wii, and the reaction'. He wasn't trolling, yet many people couldn't accept it and flamed him.

The guy who made the thread wasn't soley trying to bash the guys. Ironically they bashed him in the instance they thought he was wrong in returning the wii. Just because they think its great doesn't mean everyone else shares that view. They didn't understand that and hence, bashed him. The people in that thread bashed the TC due to insecurity as they think as the cashiers do. Thanks for waiting for my reply :)
