There's a lot of competition, but i'm gonna go with a resounding "Yes."

Depends if NieR Automata releases (which I doubt), that has the potential for GOAT status, it's a dream game.

Commercially obviously Final Fantasy XV will come out on top by a large margin.

It's a good year for JRPGs.

In spite of all of these games coming out, however, Persona 5 will still be the best JRPG of the year. It will be the best RPG of the year. It will, in fact, be the best game of the year.

Final Fantasy 15 will return to mainstream glory and sale way more. Persona 5 will be more profitable.

I never ever played any persona game before till Char changed my mind into trying Persona 3 and Persona 4. I'll say Persona 4 was one of the most stylish jrpg's i've ever played, what a rocking OST also lol. Will finish Persona 3 also one of these days, just not getting the time lol.

@indzman you mean Tokyo Xanadu? that is the only game I can think of that has some what similar to Persona, though Legend of Heroes Trails of Cold Steel is much closer (well since both are made by Falcom)

I will say that game is really great. But when compared to Persona...hmm....both are really great games, its quite hard for me to compare them

I've Persona 3 FES. Started it , got into compendium, beat 1st 13 floors and boss. After that its on hold lol.

Also, i checked your mentioned some Yakuza game ,not finding anywhere. i'm a Yakuza whore ( played all Yakuza 1-4, dead souls, will play Yakuza 5 shortly ). Where did you get that certain 'Yakuza' game ?

@indzman: sadly its Japan only, Sega never released the previous Yakuza game that took place in historical Japan. My guess its because it has so many historical Japanese culture/terms that are hard to explain for the Western audience

I'm not from Japan, but I am Japanese :) . The game will be very hard to play if you don't know the language due to there being A LOT of reading needed to progress though the game. A lot of them giving you specifications of what you have to do.

Cool. I don't understand any bit of Japanese language except 'Kanpai' ( Which i learnt from the Hostesses in Yakuza series lol ). Yep, language will be a hindrance to the missions/sub missions in Yakuza Ishin as i'm not familiar.

Got worried at one point when Sega refused to import Yakuza 5 western release citing Dead Souls loss sales. I'm hearing 0 will be ported on PC also. Looking forward to it :)

I Hope NIER Automata gets the soundtrack right or even better than NIER. While was not a fan of NIER gameplay, its OST was my fav :)
