Will The Conduit reduce Halo 3's record to pieces?

I think people are forgetting that The Conduit is already the 4th best selling Wii game at Gamestop(preorders only. Now THATS impressive.) and it already sold out at Amazon.com

I just went to VGChartz and spotted this thread.

Obviously, these guys believe that The Conduit can shatter Halo 3's opening record to become the fastest-selling exclusive console first-person shooter of all time.

What are your thoughts on this?

i don't think there is any way. i just don't see the Conduit being as successful.

it wasn't even the best-selling game of 2007, that would go to MODERN WARFARE. So Halo a great deal of 360 owners looked forward to (no doubt) but games like God of War III and Alan wake have already surpassed it in overall hype and meaning to gaming as a whole and not eclusively to 1 console.

god of war 3 will start soon because it is a sequel to already an established franchise from previous consoles, and ala nwake most likely when we get more photos, it's thriller open ended world just like grand theft auto and we all are aware how big GTA becomes...
