MS released offical numbers months ago. Sony released combined numbers and have been using combined numbers for a while now. Sony hasn't release ANY PS3 only numbers and hasn't said a word about passing MS.

How in the world can cows even claim the PS3 passed the 360 without ANY official numbers from Sony? You can go by speculation (which isn't proof) but you can't claim it's offical without the offical numbers from Sony. This just smells of desperation on cows part.

Let it go already and move on to the next gen. It's not like it's a great accomplishment even if/when they do pass MS. The damage was done and Sony lost a hell of a lot of market share and tarnished the PS name with the bad choices they've made. MS set out to take market share and make the XBOX relevant and they did exactly that.

Nothing cows can really say to that.

Oh i don't trust VGchartz numbers but i having a kick because on my sales thread they were bring by 360 fans to prove the xbox 360 was ahead by 1 million units,so now i am just having a blast by showing that the last source that has the xbox ahead also has it losing now.

Instead they just gave the combined with nothing else. Why don't you just wait for the offical numbers from Sony. I mean you've waited 6-7 years for this to happen. PS2 might have stopped production last year but there were still PS2s on the market being sold. That's why PS2 numbers were still being combined with PS3 numbers. The PS2 is dead and there is no way it sold even 4 million of those 16.5 million million no chance in hell,hell the year before it sold 4.1 and that number was already down 2.3 milion from the year before,the PS2 was dropping like a stone.

Sony is beating the xbox 360 in japan by 30 to 1 and the say sh** they are beating the xbox 360 in Eu as well and they say nothing,it doesn't matter at this point but they have outsold the xbox 360,US is not big enough to actually beat Japan and EU combined,and the sad part is in Japan the xbox is dead which is not the case with the PS3 in US.

We will find the answer to that question at E3 2013 (soon).

Here's the problem with your argument. Sony hasn't said what either sold. So the fact remains you have no idea how many PS2s sold. It could have sold more than 4 million. Only Sony knows for sure and they're not saying anything about it. All we know are combined numbers.

Out of all of my buddies I can say i am the only one that goes into deph of specs and so on..and they all want the X1 because all they know is that is plays games and has NFL fantasy live updates while watchin it on the X1..LOL

The xbox 1 will outsell the ps4 when it is all said and done.  Im still waiting on e3 before calling this the biggest flop in history as well.
