Yeah sure, lots of sex scenes in entertainment are awkward. They're usually just forced scenes that have no business being on screen to begin with, you could just have the lead up and let the mind fill in the blanks.
Still I wouldn't even lower Thrones to the same level as video game cringe because A. Game of Thrones has better writing than most video games and more importantly, B. Polygonal characters sharing an intimate moment just looks retarded every damn time. You're watching creepy digital puppets trying to be sensual with no subtlety. Even a convincing enough character model is still limited to the shitty rigging, skinning and animation that you get with the limits of gaming. I mean, here we are over two decades into 3d game characters being a thing, and the latest Tomb Raider is the first game that has a somewhat accurate rig for fucking shoulders of all things lol.
To be fair, creating 3d characters is a large part of what I do for a living, so yeah, the issue is probably magnified for me more than it is for most. Still though, we're all human, we're all used to seeing humans on a constant basis, it's pretty easy to tell when things just don't look right.

I really like the title of this thread 10/10. But I still don't understand why you would compare a hentai game to something magnificent as the witcher 3.
I don't personally care how it stacks up to Persona 5, but damn it looks good, and I cannot wait to get my hands on this expansion. Already took off work the day of release because it's going to be an all day thing.
Hope it's better than the main campaign at least. The story left me detached and unmotivated and with gameplay that wan't very good to save it, I ended up deleting it off my PS4 harddrive to make room for other games.

Witcher's sex scenes were hardly mature, if anything. I recall them being criticized for their immaturity. At least they were in Witcher 1 and 2. Barely paid attention to Witcher 3 (to the point I didnt even notice it had been released, and even forgot about the game shortly after).

No, just not motivated. Big difference, the game isn't hard to play lol i'm a Demon's Souls fanboy and I love technical fighting games. Great gameplay mechanics might have been the only thing to save the game for me but they weren't anything special sorry.

Which is contrary to my position actually, since I have disliked anything BioWare has put out starting with Kotor 1, and anything Bethesda has made starting with Oblivion (Modding makes skyrim great however). The fact that I could count the number of wRPGs from the last gen that I liked in one hand (and one of them is Turkish). Meanwhile, niche, indie jRPGs made me actually enjoy more than a handful of jRPGs.

That's a surprise. I think he only means the popular modern jRPGs such as FF and Tales but what you said is what I think Jag85 agrees. He loves anything Japanese. He claims most of the great Japanese games are not much known in the West. I actually agree in that regard having played Radiant Historia last gen. Atlus RPGs are niche and still top notch.

For what it's worth they are about the same for me but the fact that The Witcher is an RPG gives it a heads up by default, so I wouldn't be against an opinion that TW3 was better nor try to defend UC4 in any capacity against TW3.
I own both games, I can see why other's value them as quality games but they weren't the best thing since sliced bread for me. GTA is another highly praised and loved game that didn't really do anything for me so taste and opinion may not be particularly popular anywayz lol.

Yeah it's a different strokes for, scenario. Nioh didn't impress me all that much. Tried to like it but couldn't get into it. As for the Witcher 3, it has great combat imo by challenging yourself. Going against enemies in your league doesn't do this. I generally searched for beasts that were quite a bit above my level and made use of many of the tactics be they traps, potions, signs. Very exciting. But that's me.
91 on MC right now....9 over at IGN. I am hyped for this expansion, which will be better than most full games. The Witcher 3 is my favorite game of all time!
