@FireEmblem_Man: Looks pretty but otherwise pretty stereotypical of a cut and paste rpg.

Cut and Paste? Really? This is an expansion! If you want cut and paste, look at all those Persona games.
@FireEmblem_Man: I meant thematically speaking. Too many middle earth type rpg's to count. But as for Persona, I can only vouche for Persona 4 Golden's awesomeness. Don't know about the others. I did play part 3 but that bored me to tears.
Not the same, the Witcher Sex Cards is in terms of art, while Hentai in Persona is for perverted Japanese mean XP
You literaly use the word "sex"for Witcher, yet the perverted is the JRPG...
Well, hope you enjoy the DLC.
Well, Sex can be a beautiful thing and very artful when shown passionatly, games like Persona shows too much fetishes XD
I cant tell if you are serious...

Middle Earth type RPG's? What planet do you live in? RPG's origins have always stemmed in Dungeons and Dragons. Also, I crave for Final Fantasy to return back to their classic settings from 1-5 and 9 TBQH.
Then again, CD Projekt RED is working on Cyber Punk 2077, and I hope it will blow away all Sci-Fi RPG's

sorry but FF15 is going to judgment bolt it into oblivion
FF games will never score a perfect 10! I believe @texasgoldrush would agree with me?

I believe the Witcher 3 has already surpassed FFXV. FFXV is a development hell game, that's a red flag.
Pffff....you just couldn't let it be ahead of UC4 on MC could ya Sonyspot
I agree!
@FireEmblem_Man: I finished UC4 and it's not a 10 and when I play this expansion you and I both know it won't be an 8 lol
HA!
Beg on Geralts flopy ponytail P5 doesn't get a 9.
I bet you Persona 5 gets a 7! Everyone knows that usually the console version is inferior to a handheld port!
Getting Blood and Wine after TW Warhammer campaign. Witcher 3 was the first game since Crysis, that blew me away in every department. A very ambitious game from a much smaller (but hard working) studio compared to other AAA devs with thousands of devs.
HA!

lol that bet doesnt seem fair for you. P5 is an easy 8, probably a 9

Can't wait for the P5 hype thread.
Can't wait for the radio silence when it does score a 9.

It'll score a 10. A 9 is a given.

...And when it scores below a 9, you will lose your mod powers, right?
Why compare it to persona 5 even. They have two very different graphical styles. One is realistic and the other is more artistic. An argument could be made that persona's visual style is more unique and therefore better, but it comes down to personal preference in the end. Anyone who thinks p5 looks bad is in denial though
What? A person is in denial if they think it looks bad, but it all comes down to personal preference? So a person's personal preference can be "bad"? Are you like a right wing, Christian-conservative?

it was a joke man, calm down
So did TC create this thread just agitate charizard?
Considering how much I love Witcher 3, I would say he was really misguided :P

You would stop breaking the terms of use? Also, it's not directly at you, Mr. Ego Head, you're becoming as bad as CaseyWegner! This was aimed at weeaboo fans and those that state the "so called" JRPG renaissance

So you have problems with people celebrating the fact that their favorite genre of games is seeing a resurgence after a generation in decline? That's really sad and narrow minded.

Cyberpunk as a setting in games is quite popular in recent years like Deus Ex: HR, Transistor, etc. Steampunk is the one that's being ignored. When was the last steampunk RPG?

lol
In all seriousness, why limit it to just RPGs? Off the top of my head, Dishonored is a big one that was a steampunk game quite recently.

No one takes it seriously. You're the one who goes out of his way to constantly and incessantly tag me (and some other posters) in every other post you make, probably because you want a reaction?
I'm sorry you feel I should get my mod powers stripped. I recommend you reaching out to DigitalDame, who is the community manager, with any concerns you may have. She will look into them and take the appropriate action.

Because it is in RPGs you get to really explore the setting with hours required to finish the game. You can't do that with action games or stealth games which are usually shorter than RPGs and don't emphasize storytelling. Lol codename STEAM. Just found out about it. Kinda funny it got a 4 from GS.

I'd say Dishonored lets you explore its setting pretty well.
Would Bioshock Infinite count as steampunk?
@FireEmblem_Man: what's with u!!? Do have some personal hate against Persona or something? Witcher and Persona are two different series I don't get why would u even compare them together. But why do I even bother, this SW a place for people troll each other and to this day I still don't get whole lem or cow deal. Sigh, I miss GT.

Because WRPG/CRPG's are superior! Duh!

Haven't played Dishonored yet (I want to play it though to prepare myself for 2) but it's in my backlog along with Borderlands 2 and many other games. lol Just finished Doom 2016 and am too busy with Total War Warhammer. Yeah Bioshock Infinite is definitely steampunk and so is Dishonored. I would still love an RPG from a dev known for making RPGs like BioWare, CD Projekt Red, etc. Would be interesting on what their take on the setting would be. It's been either fantasy, futuristic sci-fi, or cyberpunk for RPGs lately.
