Pretty much.
Also, if people think RTWC had great multiplayer, well, it didn't. Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory did, which is a stand-alone multiplayer game.
I think RTCW had a great multiplayer :)
In fact it was the best team based multiplayer game I ever played.
Enemy Territory was better in some ways, sure. It added a cool gametype where you had to for example move a tank to an objective, while the enemy team would try to stop you.
But I think RTCW required more skill because it had none of the unlocking and it also featured less weapons.
Still, Enemy Territory was free, I recommended it to so many people. Imagine current Activision doing that: releasing an expansion pack for free. Nowadays they charge 60 dollars for those.
