[QUOTE="faizan_faizan"] LOL I didn't even know EA fanboys existed :lol:drinkerofjuice
Me neither but you suprised in this world
Not thinking EA is the worst company in America = being an EA fanboy.Yes. This makes total sense.
Dude I'm just messing with ya. I'm over yesterday.
[QUOTE="HaloPimp978"]
Im just saying dont know were you live but in America people hate EA peroid worst or not they are still one of the worst companies peroid. But if you wanna like EA be my guest.
FireSpirit117
I'm sure most Americans have more important things to rage over besides microtransactions and online passes. (Not sure about the ones that live on the internet though).
I agree most people have other priorities like myself being in college and all. I was just having a dicussion that is all.
None, they're businesses and as such, they're here to make money. When they try to make money in a way you don't find acceptable, that doesn't make them unethical or evil...
But fortunately for us, the gaming industry is huge and dynamic, so when one publisher takes a route you don't find acceptable, you can simply switch focus, stay away from their products, and find something other that caters better to your tastes. Just don't become overly attatched to anything, as I said, gaming industry is competitive and dynamic, and changes won't always be in the favor of your personal preferences...
Lastly, always keep in mind, the gaming industry doesn't consist of EA, Activision, CoD and CoD clones. It's a much broader term where just about any gamer can find plenty to like...
[QUOTE="James161324"]So you like getting screwed over for your money?None, welcome to business kiddies. Ethics is for the weak.
Shielder7
Nope... some of us just choose not to deal with those whose business practices we find disagreeable. Does anyone on that list force you to spend money on their products?

this boards filled with kids who have never really set foot in the big bad world yet, we've all thought EA were the big bad company at one point but some of us manage to grow out that. A few examples of worse than EA include NewsCorp,Halliburton,RBS,Barclays and i could keep goign but you get the picture :P[QUOTE="James161324"]So you like getting screwed over for your money? They're business, here to make money. Why would they cater exclusively to my personal preferences if they aren't among the viable ways of making money?
Pretty hard to say.
Activision just has no creativity.
EA just keeps adding stuff no one wants.
Capcom puts content on the disc, but has you pay for it again later.
At least EA and Capcom give out some okay games.
why is sony and nintendo even considered, when they provide mostly aaa titles
sorry but activision takes the cake for me 007 aside ,they dont really have many ips that arent call of duty clones
and this should be the end of it..but wait its a board filled with people with the mentality of a playgroud thinking SW will ever be rational is a fallacy even more than cows and their whole the vita's fine act :Prazgriz_101And it should be the end of it because you say it should be the end? FYI not every likes giving their money out just because, just because they're a business doesn't give EA the right to **** all over there customers.
[QUOTE="airshocker"]What exactly did they do?None of the above compare to Hammerpoint, the morons who made The War Z.

This video has everything you need to know about them.
TL;DW version: They released a crappy knockoff of Day Z in the hopes that people would buy into it thinking it was a standalone version of the game. The team's long list of shady actions include listing false information on the game's Steam page, banning large amounts of players for no reason as a way to deter hacking, and acting hostile and condescending towards anyone who criticised the game and demanded a refund. They're not so much a game developer team as they are a group of scam artists. System Wars Magazine readers voted the whole debacle as the dumbest gaming moment of 2012.
EA is still the worse followed by Activision and Capcom.
1. EA. (Monopolized the gaming market)
2. Activision (Milks their biggest franchises dry. Could care less about the gaming community.) 3. Capcom: Complains at fans when they don't buy their games. Puts DLC on game disk and then wants gamers to pay to unlock it.)
4. Sony (Lies to everyone. There's a list on the internet showing about 30-35 lies Sony has told the public over the last 10 years. Very arrogant company who think they are perfect. Believes they can never fail. Learned a valuable lesson this generation.)
I'm fine with all the other companies for the most part. Not sure why 2K Games or Codemasters are on the list.
Can't be mad at Activision because they never lied about what they were doing. They were always, "Hey, we're gonna run this franchise into the ground to make money, and then we're gonna jettison it and maybe some developers. Kay?"
EA and Capcom, on the other hand, have actually gone out of their way to make me upset. So them.
Ethically, none of them did anything wrong, but the ideas behind this thread are stupid, so I chose to ignore them.
Activision only milks, what else do they do? O wait, skylander figurines. That's nothing compared to Dead Space 3, micro-transactions on things that used to be cheatcodes!

You nutjobs are still going on about that...
Shocking to me too. I thought Capcom would be dominating with all their on disc dlc and pay extra for multiplayer for the game (RE5)Why is Activision winning over Capcom or EA? They havent done half the bad sh*t these two had. They didnt came up with online passes (hell not even CoD has those) and petty download practices. Sorry but both EA and Capcom should be winning this. Activision isnt half bad when its all said and done

22 work for bakkavor as a supervisor which is a multinational corportion with a masive turnover, heavily involved in the Scottish music scene mainly the metal one and heavily into the current UK death metal scene, i've been dicked over and just accept these big corporations are merely but another part of life and thats just it.
There is no irony, only what i think should really be said for all intents and purposes. Some people think running this whole morality arguement on the internet is going to make a difference, nope...for every one of you theres 10 people out there who will gladly pay for their products.

but Yeah that is pretty bad, I still can't put them on the list tho since it sounds like it's on the developers side, not the publishers, but it does justify Valve being on the list in a way.The irony in this statement is almost funny, almost not quite.[QUOTE="Shielder7"]

28 work in a micro lab, so yes irony. I have a feeling everyone defending EA and other publishers unethical practices probably work in business, using the same logic that people defended the banks when they needed to be bailed out. Which makes sense, an unscrupulous person is going to defend unscrupulous practices. I'm suggesting your opinion is wrong, an opinion can't be wrong just you're a bad person or more specific an unethical person. as ethical business practices seem to be taking a back seat these days. Well thats the image I'm getting off you anway.
crapcon and the idiots who buy their games
They tell everyone one they are going have locked content on disc(dragom domga, devil may cry, rs6) before the release of these games. So go to the store pay full RETAIL for the game like a good little boy then go home and DAMN wants to lock 100% oif content on disc? pony up some more cash!

Learn capitalism, learn buisness ethics, learn how these companies work then come back.
Banks needed bailed otherwise the fallout would have been even more catastrophic it was a necessary evil, but still keep pushing the whole dime store morality jig.Trust me try starting out as a band, people like Lady Gaga get pampered and guys like Sylosis tour in an ancient van yet considered one of the best thrash acts around right now.I've just learned to understand these buisnesses exist to keep the masses happy, theres plenty other companies to buy off of if you feel they are more ethical instead of pushing an ancient hippy arguement just do what i do except i do it with music, just buy the CD's dont care what label makes it and just bloody enjoy it instead of whinging bout ethics.
Oh and for a second point, most major pubs are dubious when it comes to ethics im not defending EA in any sense but just made a point of pointing it out but you seem too stubborn much like the ram in your avatar yet Capcom this gens been far far far worse on disk day 1 dlc, needless re-releases of games, rebooting series that dont need it,RE6 and a plethorea of others...yet EA is somehow worse? nah it just seems like that arguement thats been around from the gamers who dont really understand buisness or industry.
Trust me i know crunch times, we get them i pull 12h shifts every other month for week's solid but i think ah well im getting a good pay in the end.
Still wanna have to conversion huh? Your the one failing b*tch got to love how people talk sh*t about you on the internet. All over some thing about me saying EA is the worst its called an opinion.HaloPimp978Pardon me if I think it's very silly that you think a poll based off 250,000 votes constitutes as something factual. It doesn't. You'd be foolish to think so, and I'm not saying that to be on the offensive. LOL I didn't even know EA fanboys existed  Really? What are the people still playing BF3 are?
Learn capitalism, learn buisness ethics, learn how these companies work then come back.Well if one of use needs to learn business ethics I think it's you. You also need to learn how to spell business, and argument because you constantly spell these wrong. For someone who claims to know so much about business should at least know how to spell the word. Learning how to use an apostrophe might also come in handy. As for the banks it's a prime example of how legally doing something doesn't mean ethically doing something. They shouldn't have needed to be bailed out because they shouldn't have been doing what they were doing period. The US should take a page from the Canadian hand book on how to regulate bankers, as well as Guns but that's a different topic. Regardless were just going to have to agree to disagree. I have a problem with EAs business ethics, how they refuses to adapt to a changing market and twist it to suite them, do everything possible to walk over the consumer and treat them like $%. You don't have a problem with this, I also think you're an unethical immoral person and I doubt there is anything either one of us can say to the other to convince. There is an ethical limit to what I'll do for money regardless if it's legal or not, other people don't have such a limit and people like that might be a big chunk of the reason why the US is trillions in debt.Banks needed bailed otherwise the fallout would have been even more catastrophic it was a necessary evil, but still keep pushing the whole dime store morality jig.Trust me try starting out as a band, people like Lady Gaga get pampered and guys like Sylosis tour in an ancient van yet considered one of the best thrash acts around right now.I've just learned to understand these buisnesses exist to keep the masses happy, theres plenty other companies to buy off of if you feel they are more ethical instead of pushing an ancient hippy arguement just do what i do except i do it with music, just buy the CD's dont care what label makes it and just bloody enjoy it instead of whinging bout ethics.
