Would I personally play a videogame with an openly Homosexual Protagonist? To be truthful No. Such a game would be supporting the Gay political Agenda" Since I am conservative No.

There is no reason for a videogame to feature such a sterotype which would further the Gay political Agenda". The honest answer is No.

However I do support a videogame company being able to create and market such a videogame. Since the First Admendment regarding free speech. But I would not buy and play such a game.

Also, a characters sexuality is rarely relevant to a game, and so doesnt get mentioned. As such, you make assumptions. Does anyone know that Sully doesnt flirt with men? To be honest, the abudence of ridiculous masculinity in the industry is a little gay You may see it as bad ass but just remember what gay men are attracted to... masculinity.

And to answer the question, I don't see how it would be a big deal. Few games deal with the sexuality of the main character and the ones that do typically allow you to be gay True, many of these games don't allow you to fit the stereotype of a flamboyant gay man but most gay people that I know don't fit that stereotype either. Most of them are normal, they just like dudes.

I would, no problem, unless there was gay sex on screen, but that's a different matter and probably will never be shown in a video game in our lifetimes. My problem with JRPG's is the majority are to love story driven and overly complicated, and their obsessive fans really turn me off from them, has nothing to do with flamboyant characters.

Also, if your parents kick you out for playing Final Fantasy, I'd sue their asses.

I don't care if a characters gay but I don't want to play as an outrageously camp character. In most games, sexuality is not even mentioned, why does it become a big deal when it's about sexual orientation. I sometimes think in some instances gay people are the ones bringing up sexuality. Ok they want a character they can relate to, but what do they want the character to do, start kissing other same sex characters. I just don't get the point or importance of this. Would they just stick a gay character in for the sake of it?

If it's a game with choices, I wouldn't mind if people could choose to be gay in game, like in an RPG, that freedom should be up to them.

I think that rings a bell. Yeah in Fear Effect 2 I think they where strangely very close friends. But still nothing open or clear.

Honestly, it would be a turnoff to me. With that said, it wouldn't really bother me, unless the guy was constantly acting super flamboyant or the game was very graphic. I watch Modern Family, and those gay guys are usually hillarious. I watch Trueblood, and Lafayette is an awesome character (unless I have to watch him making out with another guy lol).

My biggest issue with this kind of thing is the people who push for this in everything. These are the people who want to make bert and ernie openly gay That to me is wrong. And by the way, Jim Sterling is a tool and that article about Drake being homosexual is complete trash.

I remember you, you're the same guy who basically told me to die when I insulted fanboys a few weeks back on System Wars. Why the hell would a Christian defend Biblical stance on Gays, yet at the same time basically want someone dead for insulting their personal favorite console? To me, to truly follow our faith, we need to come to respect all points of views on everything in this world, be it gay's and straights, to something as stupid as favorite video game consoles. Believing one thing is greater over another is a sign of elitism, something that the New Testament frowns upon. Besides, if gays ARE damned, I don't see how you are going to go to hell by allowing them to live the way they want.
