for a second there i thought it said ODST, and i was like WHAT?!?!? Then i noticed it said OOT.

Huh, when I first read that list, it didn't seem like it was in any particular order:?. They're numbered, but there was no #1 or top 10 fanfare. It felt more like a group of the 200 best games.

Not the worst list i've seen but man am I disappointed. A couple disappointments i had...

Besides Goldeneye it looks like Rare got shafted hard. Perfect Dark not in the top 200 games of all time nevermind the top 30? Terrible. Eternal Darkness being all the way down to 192? Are you serious? That was the best Gamecube game by a long shot. Burnout Paradise not on the list? That game was so solid. Metal Gear Solid 3....the best game in the series at 191?

Some things I liked about the list....

Uncharted 2 at 56....game was insane. GTA III at spot number 4 - game created a genre. Glad to see Beyond Good and Evil even though its at 200. Infamous at 187 is solid. Skies of Arcade at 93 is sick.

Glad to see old Fallout "Fans" blowing a gasket over Fallout 3 ranking above Fallout & Fallout 2.

But no Halo 3, Banjo-Tooie, OR GTA 4? What?

CoD 4 and Fallout 3 placing was excellent. :)

Metroid Prime should have been in the top 10 however and Ass Creed being on the list is just ridicolous

Pretty solid list from what was posted here. Naturally I have some personal changes, but all and all I feel like this was done under sharp scrutiny.

I seriously think that its epic fail that Perfect dark Banjo Kazooie or Donkey Kong Country didnt make this list

They have not aged well and every single one has been bested several times over by their successors to the point where they themselves offer little in comparison. Seriously, instead of the original Zelda, they should've had Link to the Past or Ocarina of Time, instead of the original Metroid they should've had Super Metroid or Metriod Prime and no GTA or Doom game deserves to be in the top 10.

I'm not saying Doom (or GTA) doesn't deserve to be in the list, just not in the top 10, there are better games in the FPS genre. First shouldn't imply best, but that seems to be the belief in the gaming community.

List seems ok - can't expect to agree on eveything, but KOTOR should be higher and so should Uncharted 2. FF6 above FF7 makes sense to me. Monkey Island needs to be in the top 10.

Ya...ED had a great story. Infamous is also solid but ED should be way higher while Infamous is in a decent spot. Everyones crying about Metroid Prime...a generic FPS (in my opinion) with not even a redeeming story but forget about an IP that was very original (Eternal Darkness).

Worst part is they raked oblivion higher then morrowind. That invalidates the judgement of the enitre staff and I believe they are terroist.

GTA3 is number 4?! that game got boring after like, 2 hours!

Honestly while tetris was good back in the day trying to say it is a better game then all those other games is just really dumb...

Not really a top 200 game list, more like top 200 influential for the time they were released list, but not even that. Seriously, what is the justification for GTA 3 over San Andreas? And where is Chrono Trigger? Why are the MGS games so low? Why is COD4 rated higher than FFVII? Where is Ocarania of Time? I hope Demon's Souls made the list somewhere too, that's a much better game than Uncharted 2. Really I could just pick apart the list all day.

Seems like a casual made the list and threw some old games up there to try and prove they know what they're talking about, but it's hard to make a comprehensive best games of all time, easier to break it down by genres imo.

I love how people keep calling this list terrible because they happen to like a certain game that wasn't ranked high enough for their tastes. I bet if we all made lists, 97% of them would be worse than this one so stop complaining guys.
