First ToV isn't a flop, was hyped AA, and gotten AA. But also being a flop in System wars doesn't make the game horrible (edit: according to Gamespot they are Good to Great). R&C for the PS3 was a flop, and it is one of my fave PS3 games.

With Ninja Gaiden 2 and Fable 2, they were hyped AAA and got AA. Lost Odyssey was hyped AA and got A. ToV was hyped AA and got AA so not a flop. Just a cow trying to claim it as one.

Wow, I feel really bad for you. MGS4 by itself is not better than Tales, Fable 2, NG2, LO. Sorry, I own both systems and 360 has had far more quality games this year than PS3. I'm glad I have both, and MGS4 is a great game, but give me a break. Name me one non-fanboy, unbiased games who really things those games suck?

It's nothing but a cheap version of the PS3. Most of it's great games are multi-platform.

As this war unfold, Sony gameplan has become more evident and prominent to success of winning. Many laugh at Sony for losing big-hit exclusives, but Sony knew that it was all about 1st party exclusives. Now, their 1st party line-up rivals, if not, better than Nintendo. Bad idea for Microsoft to go after exclusives that are on the "downhill." Microsoft must establish a strong first party library for the future, or it's Bye, Bye Microsoft! You can't win the war by having the same games as the opposition...

TBH i was gonna quit posting here because of the mods. Worst moderation team in the whole of the internet and i think pretty much 90% of SW psoters wouold actually agree with me, i've been suspended 10 times for nothing. No, no, and no. Sony did not know all along it was all about 1st Party exclusives. Because if they knew that all along then that would mean that they knew they were going to lose this gen from day one. Sales and popularity wise you cannot beat Nintendo's first party period. If you're going to tell me that Sony knew all along that it would be about 1st Party exclusives then they went into this gen forfeiting to Nintendo from the start which is not the case.

Rival if not better then Nintendo? Nintendo even being heavily disappointing as of late has still put out more 1st Party quality then Sony easily. Couple in the DS and its even more evident.

i was under the impression that we voted for anarchy in System Wars. meaning- there are no rules concerning whether or not we use gamerankings or GS scores for example. or npd or vgchartz. each poster can defend their posts with whatever they choose... and should then be ready to defend where they get their defense (if that makes any sense) i don't no why they call it anarchy, seems more like capitalism or natural selection. the implication being that with all of these choices, the most popular would rise to the top and become more accepted- you don't need rules when competion does the deciding.

I completly missed this drought playing all these new games for my 360 this year, In fact my launch 360 finly hit the rrod and when i went to the store to buy a ps3 I realized i was better off with a 360 that was likely to break next year then have to deal with the plethora of garbage games that make the ps3 while waiting for that one good release that happens when the planets align. For people that really think ps3 owns 2008, maybe in sales, but games wise I think the 360 got much better quality/quantiy and variety this year. Yah maybe ps3 got mgs4, good you guys really needed something to make that ps3 so special because without it, it truly is garbage. Lets not forget the ps3 entire loss of backwards compatibily this year, if it already didnt suck enough now they are forcing you to play all the new crap.

This might be hard to believe, but im not a fanboy. But it is my honest opinion about the ps3 that I just really think the system was a flop, flawed with horrible design choices, too expensive, and lack of direction for what the ps3 should have been. Its the jack of all trades this gen, doesnt do anythign right, just trys to do as much as possible.
