X720 or PS4: Which console is more likely to be the most powerful graphically?

Will sony even have another system? I don't know if they can afford it.

it will be a struggle for the ps4 since sony can't exactly afford the research for an ultra power console. :(

Looking at Sony and MS portfolios, i would say Xbox 3.

Going off of the billions and billions of rumors I would say xbox but the difference will be very very tiny but big enough for the desperate fanboys on here to argue about.

I don't know, we don't know enough about them at this point. Though I think it's a safe bet that whatever console comes out first will be the weaker one, and at this point it seems like that's going to be the next Xbox.

So there you have it-- a machine that should last about 4 years or more with no upgrades at all, for just about $1000. The Xbox 720 will be this things low-IQ little cousin who's a bit small for his age, and will grow up to make a living collecting welfare and disability checks, while the PC will go on to do a great many things that the 720 can barely dream of.

720 > PS4 graphically

Xbox will remain the "everyman" box for the masses, Playstation will remain it's competator.

PC will remain a niche for hardcore elite (and bored housewives for WoW/Facebook games.)

AMD CPU? I'd have gone Intel CPU, AMD GPU, like in your sig. I know man you're illustrating a point ...

And speaking of that point, I suspect you're right. I am unsure of exactly why, but it seems to me that chances are slim-to-none for an 8th gen console to offer better graphics per dollar than a PC.
