Xbone is in a really bad position right now.

Everyone knows it's getting killed in sales. Everyone knows its hardware gets outperformed by the PS4 resulting in worse performing/looking games. Despite all this, PS4 is the first of the 2 to get a killer app exclusive?

We all know that Wii U and PC are killing it in the games department, while PC will always have that hardware advantage resulting in better looking games with better performance. Bloodborne is the game that finally draws an allure to the PS4 allowing it to at least be in the discussion of potential systems to own.

What about Xbox One, though? Bad hardware, no games, bad sales, bad community etc. Halo MCC isn't even in the top 10 most played games on the system online. They've scrapped plans for DLC because it would segregate the already barren wasteland that is the mcc community.

This system is in desperate need of help because it's looking like a slow burn, ultimately resulting in a very graphic beating handed down by the PS4.

The Xbox One is fine. Yeah, it's not flying off shelves like the PS4, but that doesn't mean it's failing.

Bloodborne is going to be a great argument crutch for a long time because if Lems want to run and hide from the AAAE score handed out by Gamespot, they'll find an even higher score on Metacritic.

Xbone is pretty much screwed at this point.

Since I get all multiplats on my ps4 and they have little exclusive indie game support, I haven't played mines in months since I got the MCC. They better have a huge blow out for e3 because I'm getting disappointed. Can't wait for forza 6, and Scalebound though.

Bad hardware? If it has bad hardware then the PS4's hardware is also sub-optimal, it may be more powerful but they play the same games with nearly identical settings. Bad sales? Errr....no. Sales are absolutely fine, they did great over the holiday and they've even done well early this year. Yes they are being out-sold by the competition, and their goal is to catch up. But compared to any other console in history, it's selling amazingly. Bad Community? What? Smaller or bad? All online communities are pretty much the same in my experience (i game online Ps4/x1/pc). No games? Err again, no. Sunset Overdrive and FH2 are the greats of the holiday season, despite it's online issues I've really enjoyed the MCC. We also got IDARB for free which is the only game I play when I hate lots of friends over.

Despite your list of OPINIONS and how supposedly useless and doomed the X1 is, I've still played it far more than my PS4 overall. Bloodborne will be my first PS4 title since Infamous, and the first time I'm even plugging it in since july.... Good games, great online service, great controller, constant updates, HDMI In feature (that I use all the time), cross platform games with windows 10, etc, etc. There are plenty of reasons to have an Xbox, and the same goes for a gaming PC, a PS4 or a Wii U

At E3, The XBox brand either sinks or swims.

Xbox one is a perfectly good choice for the vast majority of gamers needs and desires.... For a far smaller group of dedicated gamers, I suppose there are some more pronounced differences, but yeah... Xone is here to stay for a few more years and will prove a good buy to most everyone by the end.

Xbone got a killer app last year, it was the PS4 that was the last of the two to get a killer app. Where the **** are you getting your information from?

I recon more people would have bought an XBONE for MCC than the people that bought a PS4 for Bloodborne. HALO has a massive following that appeals to a large percentage of gamers for some reason, while Demon/Dark Souls and Bloodborne are niche. Whats more Bloodborne is being massively over hyped and is receiving high praise from reviewers who are once again giving a From Software game a free pass regarding bugs and glitches while at the same time down-scoring other games for having them.

I dont need to link every review thats been down scored or every From Software game thats had no mention of bugs. Bloodborne suffers from the same glitches and bugs I experienced in Dark Souls 2 yet there is little to no mention of them and certainly no effect on the score these games get.

Go compare how many Xbox One games will be announced at E3 compared to PS4......

lol I don't know whats up with internet people. All I did was explain my opinion to your, properly and in depth. That hardly classifies it as a rant, it's not like it was overly long, had me rambling or being angry.

I haven't set my expectations anywhere, I own all platforms, love gaming, and will play whatever interests me. My X1 has been more interesting to me than my ps4 so fair, that's just the way it is. If last place is this much fun, I'm in.

Edit: and what the hell, why would I be "satisfied with last place" when I could simply plug in my ps4 and experience the mighty first place console at any moment? It seems like you think I'm some lem mindlessly backing MS, when realistically I just play everything and have been playing the X1 more.

The only "Issue" I see with the XBO.. is the Win10 integration. If that takes places there would be absolutely no reason to own a XBO.

There would be just as many reasons to own a Xbone if it had Windows 10, don't be silly. It's an OS that has barely any effect on gaming.

Its not really the hardware but the software. Im surprised ms did as well as they did last gen with their blatant disregard for first party exclusives. They have a very limited 1st party library and its not very diverse. Its only a matter of time before more and more people realize this, this will do little else than slowly damage their reputation. If ms doesnt wisen up and give people a reason to own the console aside from timed exclusives, Halo, gears and Forza they will slowly vanish from the console market. And i think they know this and are ok with it. All of their strategies seem more geared towards short term gain.

I'm not a fanboy like you, it's not a killer app, and I'm not saying that because lol console, I'm saying that because it's a fact. it's not a killer app. Droves of people are not going to jump and buy Bloodborne.

Also no one said Rpgs were niche, JRPGS were niche (even then no one actually said either was too niche to be killer apps I have no idea where you pulled that from), and outside of Square they still are. Even then, PSX has multiple killer apps so this conversation is pointless.

Bloodborne is not a killer app in all seriousness. Killzone can be considered a Killer App relatively. Destiny is an actual Killer App, and MGSV MAY be a killer app, Bloodborne? No.

I really don't get the whole "Wii U is killing it with games" argument. What games are you talking about? It has no third party support what-so-ever. If you are a Wii U only gamer you are pretty much screwed this gen unless you only play Nintendo games.

Because the argument (and it's you cows that bring this up all the time) is about exclusives. The WiiU IS killing both consoles as far as exclusives are concerned AND it has the ONLY AAAAE game this gen. That alone kills all other consoles, at least that was the argument cows used all last gen.

Microsoft's best shot at success is releasing a more powerful version of the XBONE and having developers develop XBONE games with two graphics settings (one for the current version and one for the second, more powerful one). That's their only hope at succeeding this generation.

Xbox One seems to be doing fine. If it were in a vacuum I think we'd all perceive its sales as good if not exemplary. Just because the competition is wiping it doesn't make it a commercial failure and there's plenty of software on the horizon to keep owner's/potential buyers interested. This is coming from a PS4 owner; there's no need to sensationalize things but this is System Wars, I get it. I suppose that's why I rarely post here,

Lol The Xbox One is the third fastest selling console ever behind the Wii and PS4, selling more units at this point in it's lifespan as the 360 has, has quite a few games triple a games coming out this holiday, has a good library of games our already and has all mulitplatforms games coming to it's console and has games lined up for 2016 already like Scalebound, Gears, Phantom Dust, Crackdown and I'm sure more and it's in a bad position? I love people's logic in system wars.
