The GRAW gamepage here on Gamespot says " Also on: PC|PS2|Xbox".

So are all the people saying GRAW is exclusive mean that Gamespot's judgement is law unless you disagree with it?

and if you'd actually read the reviews you'd see them say that the game is different. here's a quote.

"Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter for the Xbox continues the disturbing trend of releasing games on different platforms that have the same name but offer vastly different gaming experiences. If you were wondering if Advanced Warfighter for the Xbox might offer something similar to the superb tactical shooter of the same name on the Xbox 360, you can stop wondering now. It doesn't, and it's not even close."

they share the same game page because they have the same name and were released around the same time.

wow this thread is sad the fanboy logic is painful to see anybody whos not a crazy fanboy knows that graw on 360 was a completely different game from the other versions and that the ps3 only has 1 AA exclusive which is a remake of an xbox 1 game that can be played on the 360

i know the pc can be use as a gaming device but also this device can do many things and that is why they are usually expensive but millions of people got pcs but not all are for gaming purpose that is why i count the pc as unfair in SW because is not exactly a gaming device or has an expecific purpose like the consoles do.consoles are expecific for gaming in the eyes of evryone but pcs are not.i dont know if guys can see where im going with this.im trying to make a point,im not trying to change the rules and if u think about it a person can be smart enough to make a pc play ps3 games and 360 games.well i came out with this because i do follow the analogy of "console exclusive"

not saying it is, but even if the pc is only a very small part of the gaming market its existence still means it counts.

That's still 2 more than something else. But that's besides the point, this whole AAA exclusive thing is overrated. Most consumers will not differentiate between a product that scored 8.9 and 9.1 and come up with a big difference. A game doesn't have to bea "AAA" exclusive to be a killer app or system seller. Your artificial forum rules are just that - artificial.

Because we all know that what gamespot says is fact. You're using gamespot's opinions to make all the other great games non existant. How many games does PS3 that are fun, and compare that to 360. Yeah, you see a huge difference.

GRAW on the 360 is actually a totally different game from the other versions. While NGS is just a port with added content and better graphics. Plus if you're still doubting GRAW as an exclusive read the reviews. It's made pretty clear they're totally different.

It's still a system where you can play games. I mean World of wacraft has a userbase of 9 million people. That's pretty big, don't you think? Most console games are lucky if they break the 1 million mark.except the big games like Halo and Mario) This provesthe PC has a presence in the gaming market.

game lineup comparisons have always been more important here than sales. gaming pc sales can't really be tracked but games lineup comparisons can certainly be made. that's why it counts.

because wheter you like it or not the PC is a system, and it would be stupid to have a PC sales chart because that would include every PC owner in the world. that as well as the fact that people also buy sertin parts for there PC making each one diffrent(unlike the Wii/360/PS3). Its a system it count in SW get over it

i understand that but the pc main purpose is not to play games i post that before

OldParr

it is for me. there are also people who use a console for playing movies more than they do for playing games. it doesn't really matter. they both can play games so they both count.

i said i know is SW but when people and i mean the general casual market when they are going to choose a gaming device they wont think about getting a pc but they will think about getting a ps3 or a 360 or a wii and they will choose the one that will offer the better gaming experience.which i think right now is the wii

OldParr

not saying it is, but even if the pc is only a very small part of the gaming market its existence still means it counts.

how come??? i dont see people here posting sales vg charts about the pc.how many games were sold on pc and rarely they showed the exclusives well only crysis.evrytime they talked about the pc is when a 360 game is also on pc and they will said that on pc is better(cows) or why buy a 360 when they know they can play it on pc.knowing that the 360 is cheaper.

It's still a system where you can play games. I mean World of wacraft has a userbase of 9 million people. That's pretty big, don't you think? Most console games are lucky if they break the 1 million mark.except the big games like Halo and Mario) This provesthe PC has a presence in the gaming market.

i understand that but the pc main purpose is not to play games i post that before

We all know it's main purpose is not gaming but gaming is still very popular on the pc and you can't just ignore it because "it's not a console".

no it's not basically the same game. they are different and the scores also reflect it. do you think it's a coincidence that one is AAA while another is A and two more aren't even that?

The GRAW gamepage here on Gamespot says " Also on: PC|PS2|Xbox".

So are all the people saying GRAW is exclusive mean that Gamespot's judgement is law unless you disagree with it?

sparkypants

and if you'd actually read the reviews you'd see them say that the game is different. here's a quote.

So if it has the same name, and had relativly the same release how is it not the same game? sure there are diffrences in gameplay but its still basicly the SAME GAME, thats like saying black and Sigma are diffrent too:shock: So regardless of of slight gameplay diffrences its still basicly the same game but whatever

maybe you should have read the quote.

Same Name =/= Same Game. What matters is the content and GRAW as stated in the quote is vastly superior and very different then the other versions.

No. They. Aren't. You have obviously not played both versions, or even done the slightest amount of research on them, so please, stop acting like you know what you are talking about.

How different does a game have to be in order to be considered unique from the versions being available on different platforms?

Well nintendo has stated the wii is aimed at a different audience and not really in competition with the 360 and ps3. It's still a system no matter what. Same can apply to the pc. It may be seen as a different market but you can still play games on it.

I believe if the base game is the same, then it should not be considered a new game. And when I say base game, I mean if I was to play the first levels of both games and they're the same levels, they're the same base game.

Pefect Dark Zero...

Don't know if that even counts as AAA..... Chirst.

Forza MotorSport 2

Poop_Slash

Thats according to gamespot. I, like most people use gamerankings (its more accurate since it averages evreything out)

And according to gamerankings, 360's AAA games are:

Call of Duty 2 (also on PC)

Castlevania: symphony of the Night (downloadable game, also on PS Store)

Gears of War (coming to PC, butnot on it yet)

Guitar Hero II (also on many other consoles)

Oblivion (Also on PS3)

G.R.A.W (Exclusivity debated by some)

Forza 2 has a score of 89.9% so its a notable mention. (and deserves it IMO)

Here at system wars we use gamespot but it still doesn't stop me from enjoying other games that are rated AA or even A.
