[QUOTE="Verge_6"][QUOTE="CaseyWegner"][QUOTE="asylumni"] Actually, I have read the reviews (as I've done numerous quotes from them in other threads). What you have here is a statement that the Xbox version is really lousy. So are you saying that if one version is better than another, we should all just pretend the lesser version doesn't exist? Here's an example: Lumines got 9.0 for PSP, Lumines Plus (a port) only got a 7.0 for PS2 and Lumines Live! (GS: "Now, that same portable puzzle gameplay is available on the Xbox 360 as Lumines Live!, via the Xbox Live Arcade.") scored a mere 6.6. Should we ignore these other versions and say it's still exclusive to the PSP?
Also, from the PC review, it seems that the only things that hurt it's score was high system requirements and a load of bugs in the multiplayer aspect (something not usually designed into the game on purpose). Nowhere does it say it's a completely different experience.

*sigh* you don't like that? ok. let's go to wiki then.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Clancy's_Ghost_Recon_Advanced_Warfighter
"Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter is slightly unusual in that there are three versions of the game for four different platforms, with minor varied storyline/missions. The PS2 and Xbox versions are essentially the same title, while the Xbox 360 and the Windows versions stand on their own."
further down they break apart the differences by platform.
THANK you. This is the ...third time I've had this debate with Asylumni, and each and every time he ignores the points I made.
No, I don't ignore the points you make. I just can't sit here constantly waiting for your response. I also keep my quotes to GS sources (that's where we are, right?) and try to avoid user editable sites.
I've never claimed there were not differences, simply that the differences were not enough to consider them completely different games. Gamespots own words from the Xbox review are "Looks and feels like a watered-down port". Are you saying ports are completely new games? Or should we all just pretend that lousy ports don't exist?
Or, you could take a look at the different viewpoint, graphics engine, dev team, a different list of characters (save for the Ghosts), and different levels. Have you played both games? No? Alright then, you wouldn't know. If you're going to ignore Casey's wikipedia link, which is true in all respects, simply because it's not on Gamespot, then we are through here. Fanboys who use that tactic are too stubborn to be reasoned with.
