dead trigger ios is pure garbage the graphics are horrible i was playing it yesterday lol.
[QUOTE="BPoole96"]EA and Epic have both developed for iOS, EA especially. It's probably safe to say iOS receives more support from EA than the WiiU. If Apple has one strength in the software market, it's developer support. Were you referring specifically to 1st party development? Yes because app development is such a big commitment compared to full console software development right? what does it cost to make crap free2play micro theme park and pogo like games compared to full blown games? Anything to make dat apple look better amirite? My observations align with what your OP says. It porbably would greatly trouble the big 3. In my original post, I stated that I would not buy it even if it did since Apple has no developers under them.

No need to go any farther. Apple has already paid out 8 billion dollars to 3rd party developers. I'm not going to take your personal observations very seriously when I have some more significant data to rely on.That full atricle is packed with garbage from another Apple zombie that knows nothing about the gaming industry or Apple themselves.

Apple is going downhill. Updates are too frequent. Buy a console for $500, or more, and have a new one released shortly after?HeirrenYou guys are making yourselves look silly.

There was a lot of outrage when iPad4 launched so shortly after the ipad3. Sounds cliche, but Jobs was the essense of apple and this is already fading away.
Apple of 5 years ago would absolutely have squashed these 3 and claimed the market. But that "Apple" doesn't live here anymore. Most every complaint lobbed at Microsoft's gaming division can be directed at Apple too.

Costing on momentum...Check.
Lacking strategic vision...Check.
Wasting opportunities...Check.
Â
If someone can explain to me exactly where Apple is heading, I'd appreaciate it because as an analyst who's trained in strategic planning...I surely can't tell. Yes...Apple is printing money today in the same way Microsoft printed it a decade ago.
But let's not pretend that Apple is the same innovator that they have always been. They're not.

You got a link to back that up? They spent 8 billion dollars on games and haven nothing to show for it in regards to quality i have even less confidence in them then i did before.Â
Why would I make that up? Seems like a stupid thing to do. After a quick search of the internet... Apple has Paid $8 billion to Developers, Cook Says. He probably has a reasonably good idea. You got a link to back that up? HAve to lower myself to your level, but hey when profit margins is all you have left I hope you have apple stocks... well actually that would be bad.
Apple couldn't and wouldn't penetrate the console market, they would only succeed in failing. They're better in their current position with handhelds and handsets.
I'm only reminded of the Apple Pippin. And look where that went.

Apple is a different monster now, and the market itself is different. Apple wouldn't be incompetent enough to release such a hideous device again without huege financial backing (and they can afford just about anything).
Apple is indeed a completely different company now. You're also correct in saying Apple can afford just about anything. To quote myself...Apple is a different monster now, and the market itself is different. Apple wouldn't be incompetent enough to release such a hideous device again without huege financial backing (and they can afford just about anything).

Apple could buy:
- Groupon
- Linkdin
- Netflix
- Pandora
- Blackberry
- Yahoo!
- Yelp
- Zillow
- Zynga
- ...and still have billions in the bank
Or, Apple could just buy the PC industry by purchasing:
- HP
- Dell
- Toshiba
- Sony
- Lenovo
- Asustech
- Acer
- ...aaand still have enough to pick up:
- Nokia
- Blackberry
- ...and still have billions in the bank.
So get used to Apple, my warrior friends, they're going to be around for a while. lolmusicalmac
