Xbox Next can supposedly reach 10 TFLOPS that makes it faster than Titan X

Microsoft is working on a more powerful version of the Xbox One, the Xbox Next, according to an insider report by X-rays. The improved version is set to be revealed sometime during the E3. The hardware is likely to be stronger than that of Sony’s latest console, the PS4K or PlayStation Neo, by almost five to six times. Since Microsoft hasn’t confirmed anything, it is wise to read the following with a grain of salt.

A few slides from Microsoft and AMD were obtained by a source with details on the new Xbox, which will not be a remake of the Xbox One, and will feature better specifications. They also suggest that the upcoming console will be revealed this year, but will make its way to stores sometime next spring. Xbox Next will be open to hardware changes and will be extremely powerful as compared to the rumored PlayStation Neo.

The report provides information on exactly what the Xbox Next contains. The “Upcoming” console will be 4K compatible, and can even reach 5K with the supposed specs of the console.

The Xbox Next is said to be able to do 10 TFLOPS, which is insanely powerful. For comparison, Nvidia’s GTX 980 Ti can only go up 5 TFLOPS and the Titan X can go up to 7 TFLOPS. However as previously stated, no official acknowledgement means the figure might be exaggerated.

With the E3 around the corner, it appears we won’t have to wait too long for Microsoft’s official announcement on the upcoming console. In the meantime, give us your thoughts. Do you think the rumors are hogwash? Is it even possible for a console to run 10 TFLOPS?

Clickbait article. They have no reliable source for this. 5 to 6 times would make it far, far, far more powerful than a Titan X. Likely twice as powerful which is impossible.

They have no understanding of specs or that something like this would cost thousands of dollars if it actually did exist. It is possible that MS announces a new console for 2017 during E3, if so, it will probably be more powerful than the NX and Neo but nothing close to that performance. If it's some kind of new concept like a modular console, I hope it supports some type of SLI thingy. But then again, not even their PC game platform supports SLI so... who knows.

Nividas new pascal GTX 1080 is only rumored to give a small jump above 1 GTX 980Ti (Same gap as GTX 780 Ti to GTX 980, about 10- 15%) and that's going to be a $500 card. Hahaha lol, no offense by when I read that part in the OP that claims it will be 4-5 times stronger than Neo I started cracking up....like not slightly more powerful as the PS4 is to XOne now, but 4-5 more powerful lol, somehow I doubt that but I'm not technically proficient enough to comment on those rumors.
