AMD has published a demo that presents this technique, the demo is written in OpenGL using an extension. No Direct3D support was announced yet, but I guess it will become a part of one of the next DX versions. The OpenGL extension used internally by AMD was announced, but it is not yet public.Shewgenja

I don't know if it's the fact that Forza 5 looks better than every PS4 game, that the PS4 exclusives can't hit 60fps, or that their launch line up is lackluster, or that Microsoft can casually throw around more than Sony's net profit to buy large data centers to support their cloud service. watched the build live, this can be done on the PS4 but its build directly into Direct 11.1 11.2. PS4 doesnt use direct X but it has the capabilites to do this. It just would have to be programmed in, this doesnt mean that it will be used. It is a cool thing Microsoft has added and im sure you will see this made use of. Its pretty stupid to think that xbox one wont have gorgeous games next gen. This is good news though for xbox one fans.
