The Cloud is not a hard drive. You won't be able to install games to the Cloud, for instance, because the data transfer rate is far too slow. You would essentially be downloading the entire game every time you play it.

Also "unlimited" is another buzz word. There is a limitation, they just believe it is unrealistic that you will reach it with the kinds of things you will be allowed store on the Cloud. Saved games are very small files.

More backpedaling by MS. Sony's PS4 HDD is upgradable and X1's isn't, so now thy're letting people use Cloud storage. How many things does that make now that MS has backpedaled on to be more like PS4? Like 10 now.

So why not offer a second model with less storage and for less money? Like 250GB (or even less) for $399, and advertise right on the box "unlimited hard drive space." No...bad idea.

That's good. I don't currently use the cloud storage on my XBox 360. Had issues with my saves for NBA 2K12 loading automatically from the could. Unlimited storage will be good once my 500GB drive starts to fill up on the XBox One. blackace

I haven't given a shit about my Gamerscore in two years -- I used to be an achievement hunter/whore. Now I really don't give a shit.

But I'd much rather have the ability to effortlessly switch from game, to Netflix, to TV, back to game via voice, and have access to a much more comfortable controller. That's my opinion, at least.

To be honest, it's unfair to judge the DS4 and Xbox One controllers, because I haven't felt them myself. I've just been going off the past. And I don't care, because being able to say, "Xbox: TV. Comedy Central/Adult Swim/whatever. Xbox: Game," and everything switches properly is awesome to me. And that extra 100 dollars is also to secure me in playing better games. Excluding Naughty Dog, I like what Xbox offers in exclusives more than what PS does, and the next ND game won't be released until another two or three years from now -- which gives me plenty of time to get a PS4.

I'm glad you're back to the forums. Haven't argued with you in some time. Good to see you around. I get more joy blabbing with you than anyone else.

for xbox one this is huge.   im thinking off all the videos, achievement videos, pictures, music, movies i purchase digitally, on and on to the cloud.      Thank You Microsoft.    Love the ecosystem brother.
