Xbox was the best console last gen. right ?

It may have had the best Graphics but the PS2 was the system that had all of the Games.

Xbox was not given a chance by Microsoft!!!! IT lasted 4 years then Microsoft killed it!!

It wasn't in my opinion. If it is the best console last gen then how come I don't see it on the shelves anymore? The ps2 is still selling and doing pretty good.

If you ignore the PS2. Just like the 360 is the best console if you ignore the PS3 :P

Indeed, the PS2 was miles ahead of it's console competition.

with that being said, the Xbox had more then just Halo and Ninja Gaiden (Panzer Dragoon Orta, Jet Set Radio future and Shenmue 2 come to mind) and it also had superior multiplats, which really came in handy when said multiplats did not have a PC version

a lot of the good dreamcast games were later ported to othe systems, with that being said the Xbox had a better library then cube (never owned one) and the dreamcast (I own one, though I think it's a bit overrated)

Xbox 1 was by far the best system last gen imo.... maybe one of my favorite systems of all time, toe to toe with the dreamcast. Halo 1, KOTOR 1&2, Ninja Gaiden, Morrowind, Fable 1 etc.

It had that same dreamcast feel with lots of new and inventive titles, devs trying new things etc.

I dunno, maybe i just love the underdogs... but DC and Xbox 1 were probably the highlights of my console gaming career.

Actually only one of those is a dreamcast port and even then the original dreamcast game was never launched outside Japan, meaning that unless you speak Japanese you will most likely be playing Shenmue 2 on the Xbox

The dreacast is only overrated when it comes from a massive sega fan, the console however was very well made but unfortunately sega couldn't continue it. Cube had better games than the xbox imo.edo-tensei

actually, the biggest sega fan I know of (panzer zwei) underplays the dreamcast

It's a toss-up between the Xbox and the Gamecube. I never liked the PS2 all that much.

But it's a shame to see how TC missed out on what is perhaps the best Xbox exclusive of them all: Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath.

that was simple to answer.

The Xbox was awesome, and had some of my favourite games. Overall the PS2 beat it though, because it had the MGS series, plus a plethora of great JRPG's (which I preferred at the time).

Best graphics and best online. That's about it. The controller was a piece of crap and the hardware wasn't the most well built thing ever.

In my opinion the Xbox was the worst. PS2 was the best, even though Wind Waker being on Gamecube makes me want to say it's the best, Gamecube 2nd, Xbox last.

Depends on how you look at it, gaming wise no but performance wise sure.
