When it comes to actual driving on the damn road, GT beats Forza. That gap isn't what it used to be, but its still there. GT5 is still the best console sim you can get. And then there is the boat load of content, but that's a bit tricky. GT5 may have a ton more content, but Forza arguably has more content that people actually care about.

Forza is the better GAME though. In every conceivable aspect you can think of Forza is better than GT besides the actual driving. And even then Forza is so close it hardly makes a difference.

I really dont get the beef with Forza and GT fans. If you enjoy one then obviously you should enjoy the other. They each have their ups and downs, but they're essentially the same damn thing.

I loved the previous GT games but 5 was my biggest disapointment this gen.

Dont get me wrong, the gameplay was great...

But I just couldnt get past how little driving I ever did.

All the menu surfing, the random lack of vechiles to drive races (I saw one truck that I couldnt afford till I raced 1 circuit but it was cycled out after I checked back >< )

And the music lol.

Not everyone wants a stock car, besides that aero customisation plays a key role in the handling and the top speed its not purely aesthetic.

You do realize that a game is more than its core mechanic, right? Just because on game might have better gunplay, that doesn't matter if the other one has better designed levels, a better structure, is more polished, has more depth, etc. If GT5 has a grindy ass career mode, a janky presentation, bad menus, an inferior online mode, etc, why should anybody call it the better game because the driving is a little better than Forza?

Dont blame Forza, blame the actual hardware itself for not supporting it...thats actually a hardware issue NOT a software one not to mention that steerin wheel in question was built from the ground up in conjunction with Sony for GT5 prologue back in 2007.

Although the Fanatech wheels with comparable performance to a G25 are available and compatible with forza considering they have driver support on 360..where as the logitech gear DOES NOT.

Might be wise to research a little before coming out with your own stupid fanboy comments.

PS the fanatech csr(equivelant to the Driving force) wheels support the G25/27 peddals set.Not to mention the CSR is supported by the PS3 aswell..lol.

what i've had experience of driving a Focus ST, and i bought one in both FM and GT.

Its a far more cumbersome car than in either game.Neither does the GT version actually sound like one either to be brutally honest nor does forza.

If we want a realistic sim i might aswell put your silly GT is so real its like real driving, i should honestly let the hermits come in here and boot you back to the stoneage with their iRacing arguements.
