The last movie I saw was Persepolis It was great the animation was very surreal a very innovative Animated film and proves that animation can be a good way for storytelling.

Fill me in? What was it about at least? It is a horror movie that wasn't scary. It's about this guy that goes around to haunted Hotels, and he goes to this one and meets his match I guess :P Room 1408

Well of course it isn't. I never udnerstood how people always mistook graphic novel based films as superhero films :PI knew that it wasn't. I'm confirming it. I hear some people saying that the action made up for it though.

Last movie I watched was The Diving Bell and the Butterfly great film the shots where they put you in the postion of protagonist as a vegetable were done very well and a very emotional film one of the best of 2007.

Smoking Aces. Some dude I work with told me it was the most violent movie he'd ever seen so I decided to watch it. It was a good flick but not the most violent. The new Rambo movie still remains the most realistic violent movie I've ever seen.
As for Gore, I'd give the award to Peter Jackson's Dead Alive (aka Braindead). I honestly almost threw up when the old lady's ear falls into the pudding and then she ate her own ear!
