Union Award Show Renaissance *Voting Thread Open!*

On the fourth post I'm adding unions that have given us support and are in this. ;) The list is not finished yet, I've yet to make it to halfway though this thread so give me time. julian_jr

The point system would require more time and people to have a bit more patience when we start counting votes, however I really like it. It helps to eliminate a lot of people cheating...julian_jr

I'm wonder.. when it is good time to start the awards show? and how long people can vote for?

hmm can we have a private broad or union which everyone can't view it? if there is a possible?

It's possible, although we need someone with a UCB... I'd really like to find a private board soon so that we can finalize some things.julian_jr

Actually, my run was mildly successful. Add FFE(Final Fantasy Experience) to the list. It's a massive union, so it will be helpful.:D

I say yes. My union is pretty active and it would awesome if it were nominated. 

I don't know what I could do to help though other than spread the word.

Forgot to say that the awards have never been official. Always unofficial. Also realize that whichever way you decide to do the awards, there will be people talking crap. So just make sure you have your thick skin on. ;)chicknfeet

bak, do you know of any unions out there which you believe may not know about this? If so, could you PM the leaders to inform them? julian_jr

On the fourth post I've added every union I've noticed myself which has supports us! The list is pretty impressive for less than two days worth of spreading the news, and there's other unions out there that I don't even know about which also support this.julian_jr

shadow and warrior.. glad you would help us out I'm sure Julian would add you guys to the list.. but he need to sort out few stuff first. also we need to make a plan how can we make it work and who"s who going running the task first.

Just posted a blog about it. BTW, I am sure the Jedi Council Union supports you. I made a thread about it, and based on it many are doing blogs of it.raimgamer

we should probably use a "we need you" image with the template.

I particularly like this 1:

-Union of the Year -Best Visual Union -Best OT/Discussion Union -Best Sports Union -Best New Union (has to be under a year old) -Best Community Assistance Union -Best Gaming Union This are going to be on the list of categories. ;) The remaining categories in the 2nd post are still up for question. julian_jr

You can use the image if you want lol. :P I just created a basic template for people to use quickly. The officer/leader thing could work just that I feel that would be too much of a popularity contest and a lot of people won't know the leaders/officers in other places.julian_jr

well, i think a popularity contest would work just fine for that actually. People have many leaders and officers to choose from. They would need to think a bit before suggesting one.m4t3u5LP

Very true... and doing so could cause a bit of bitterness from other unions, and make this impossible for several unions to unite again for the(hopefully) 2012 Union Awards.:D
