And on another note, the Nerd Hub and the Playback Union are the same place, the Playback Union is the union and the Nerd Hub is what the leader named the message board. :Pmariostar0001

-Most Informative Union (That would be the best union that is often updating the frontpage with news, has a good presentation and is always up to the date.) Should we include this or not? For the most part I kinda want to say no and here's why: say a gaming union wins its category for best gaming union, well obviously that union is also probably very informative. This is my view, and want to know what others think, I want to start going through each of these categories and get opinions.julian_jr

Thing is we already have an award for OT/discussion unions. Having two possible OT awards isn't really needed. julian_jr

Unions should be able go into multiple categories like the GOTY voting.

In the past they had a best union archive. Do you think if we kept it then that would work the same? I'm trying to argue all points here to see which is the best option.julian_jr

yeah, the 2 are about the same. so just leave it.

i think the political and religious type unions and stuff should be excluded, cuz it would lead to trouble with like "they only won cuz the ppl who voted were that religion/political party!"

Or that too.:P But I see only one category kind of weird. Maybe like sub categories too as well so unions are given a second chance. A nintendo union might be a good union but a sub category for "best nintendo editorials" would be great for a second chance for a nintendo unions, because some unions exceed better than the same type of unions in specific skills. Such as organization, appeal, activity.

Then we could have the most active union, and things like that.

I kinda want to do that although like optiow said the other day, those unions want to also be included. We could include them in a category however, like in the past the sports category was sports/special interest. I know they can't compete in best OT/Discussion since there are several big OT unions and the competition is really high usually.julian_jr

Game Categories would be excellent. But like you said it would make counting more difficult.

New idea/issue: Just now thought, will best gaming union be good or should we do Console and Game Specific categories? There are a lot of Nintendo unions out there, but at the same time there exists unions that are dedicated to a single game series.julian_jr

Game Categories would be fun. But its harder.

Consoles would be easier. But imo I'd go with with the big 3, nintendo, microsoft, and sony.

No I mean having one set for general games and another category that's game specific. For example AONU would be general games, while a union like Ratchet and Clank Union is game specific. julian_jr

Do you think that instead of making things more complicated just go with Gaming since it covers both well? julian_jr

Most Dedicated Union (this would include all the work put inside of it to make it successful, the base of the officers, how the union is handled, etc. Union size doesn't matter!). What is everyone's opinion on this category? Of all the categories this is the one I'm most unsure of, but at the same time like.julian_jr

We've already got Best Community Assistance union. ;) We decided on keeping most informative, although it'll be more based I think towards gaming information and news. julian_jr
