i have one friend that did subbing for anime in her free time an translating manga (an she lives in austin too now but i never get a chance to see her). one thing i cannot stand is fan-dubbed anime. OH. MY. GOD. a screw driver in my ear would sound alot better an less painful. i think i tried looking for lost exile on youtube or something...an thats all they had. that night...i gave up on everything in life.

an this occurs in anime, but i only have a few that are in english. most of mine is in japanese with dubbs. this also occurs with some cartoons...like ones on CN like teen titans...an i think justice league. also, i watch metalocalypse once in awhile an i heard the voice of the bassist on that movie UP. it was so weird

also, this weekend...i think im going to have a Lord of the Rings "Abridged" movie marathon. basically im just going to skip from boring talking to the fight scenes. i just wish ihad it on Blu-Ray...i think it'd be awesome.

also...i wish i still had my LotR: The Two Towers game, i think they got it for like $4 at GS.

i keep lookin gin this magazine for minis an i keep seeing the LotR one an it gots me hooked.

I have it on blu ray. I must say it really is a treat! Quite a few scenes really do pop out at you. The spider scene, the gandalf vs flame dude scene, the lava scene, the ending ending and many more! You would do yourself and your HDTV a service by buying it.

@wonzan, hush:  I refuse to get LotR on bluray until they release the extended versions in bluray (I already own them on DVD but... well, bluray's better :) ) 

i got them on DVD...but an extended ver.? sweet lord...werent those movies long enough to begin with?

i still remember the 8 times i was about to get up to leave in the theater when i thought the last movie was finished...but then another ending came up, an another.

ahhhh...watching those movies an sitting down so much reminds me of the 9-15 hour flights from the US or Germany to Japan.

@Elbert, it's got 33/40 from Famitsu, and I've heard a lot of good things about it.

@Hush, the only good English Dubs I've watched are FMA & Dragonball Z. It's physically hurts to watch DBZ in japanese. Everyone sounds like they're prepubescent! I was watching a japanese trailer for Dragon Ball Ragin Blast, which showed part of the What-If storyline about Broly going SSJ3, and it was really annoying. He sounded like he'd spent his life inhaling helium.

@shauny:  I disagree with dragonball... well, yeah, the voice of goku does not fit AT ALL but I am... a purist haha, I always have to watch stuff in their original language, when things are dubbed some of the original acting is lost, that's why it's subbing for me (and in the case of anime fansubs nowadays are far better subs than official ones, i'd say, 90% of fansubs are)

 @ hush: oh god dude! you haven't seen the extended versions?! they further flesh out the story and some things make more sense. be prepared to get comfy on a seat though, I did a marathon once, watched all 3 extended in one seating... I was almost 12 hours watching them.  If memory does not fail me, fellowship gets 30 more mins, two towers 40 something and return gets a full extra hour.  but you have to watch them, you just HAVE to :D

i heard about return's extra stuff where they had this other sauron lackey character that was in the book. but holy...i do not think i can sit in one spot for 12 hours

also, i got this CRAZY urge to play Jet Set Radio Future after coming across some of the tracks from the game on my itunes. SEGA needs to make a new one!

the wii would be a perfect fit for that game (i think), let's hope for the best

@polter: you say that an i think of wii in-line skates. then i think of disaster haha. i can understand what you mean thought, the cel-shade art an funky style would fit right up there with games like no more heros an madworld.

but i think this is a good ol fashion controller game.

also, i worry for the wii now...xbox is on the move to smash it with that...super motion sensor thing.

I have heard Demon's Souls will be released in March too (well here in England anyway, the US already has it). That and Lost Planet 2. FFXIII, SSF4, GOW3, DS, LP2 and probably some other games. March is going to hurt my wallet like a Crissaegrim does to anything in Symphony of the Night!!! I'm feeling an antipode of emotions.....should I be excited or sad?! lol

I wish they do PURE WHITE on Xmas, that`ll be best Xmas present :) I missed PURE BLACK, bc I celebrate Halloween for 3 days and the event just lasted 2, but Xmas I just dinner with friends. And I`ll be doing a easy going rotation, so I could play at least 3-4h on Xmas weekend... so pls, pls, pls...  Also Thanksgiving weekend may work :P but less convinient :P

.... anyway.... was overnight last night.. for some reason still NO SLEEPY... so gonna catch up with Vampiry diaries, BOnes, Greys anatomy and  flashforward.... well no all, 1-2of those. After all today and tomorrow are my only days off....

Haha, I was quite an avid MGO'er myself Hush! I was thinking of getting MW2 after seeing the 3rd person gameplay but I thought they would really limit the 3rd person modes in terms of the different game types you could play in it. Is that the case? Would be nice to play MGO with you sometime but I guess you are probably on the US server (I'm on the EU server).

for the 3rd person, when you get to lvl/rank 19 you unlock this. and i think its random, for example i played demolition and from what i understand it basically covers the other game types too. i may play it later. BUT it can effect some things. for example i like to use the heart beat moniter(if you havent seen it...think about what the marines in Aliens used to locate movement) and in 3rd person it was useless. there is also a cage match where its one on one fighting in 3rd person but i have yet to try it.

as for MGO we can try one day, i play rarely but im on once in awhile. my PSN is kobachiman and my name in MGO is HUSH.

also, i watched Fellowship of the Ring...TWICE. i kept nodding off. tonight, the Two Towers!

dude...i havent rewatched it again...but i think it had some of the cooler battles besides the epic last one in Return of the King.

and instantly im reminded "Oh, I'm crazy? Those ****in' hobbit movies were boring as hell. All it was, was a bunch of people walking, three movies of people walking to a ****ing volcano. Even the trees walked in that movie"
