as how to link directedly to a message: when you edit a message, after you submit the post, in the url it would show a link, that is teh link to that message.. include all until it says msn#000000, removed the rest and then put the number of the message....

so the 1st part until msg_id=xxxxxxx would be the same for all post on that thread.... you change the last number after the last "#" that number will indicate the number of the post

note that post that have being deleted counts, so you may have to change the number sometimes by +/- 1.

I got the menu finished for Labyrinth! :D

After many hours (like 8 or so straight), I finally got it done. It took a while to go through all 36 pages. I learned quiet a bit about GS though.... Like the character limit for a post is 20,000, I had to flow over to the second post to fit everything. I am guessing this happened due to all of the thumbnails and links for the gallery. I quoted the original posts at the bottom of each menu to preserve the history of the thread. :)

Anyway, check it out! :P Let me know what you think or if I need to make any changes. :)

Just wanted to let you guys know I updated the link to Juste's Room in our main menu and fixed a couple of minor things. I also reviewed our link list to make sure they are current. :D

NOTE: pls keep the 1st post updated with CV stuff... but pls avoid putting all jobs there (you can put your favs :P ) or the thread may get slow/clotted for some ppl :)

Thanks and especially for changing the name in the main menu! :D When I reviewed the menu the other day I didn't want to change anything major like that. :) The menu is really your baby, I was just updating the Juste's Room link and checked over the links and titles real quick.

Not a problem, I will keep it clean and updated. ;) I just wanted to get the past artists in, they played an important part as well and deserve the credit. :)

Hey guys, just wanted to ask you guys' advice. You guys have been running this board long before I was around and probably have some good ideas as to what we should do for a contest. I have 1200 Wii Points to spend and nothing that I want to buy right now. So......I would like to run some kind of contest and use these points to gift something as the prize, kind of like we did the with the Clocktower.

Anyway, let me know what you guys think. :D

I am not going to explain everything to them until I open the official game thread. Would it be ok to delete the thread after everyone submits the words to avoid cheating? Of course the list would be randomized before being used in the puzzle to begin with, but to keep them from seeing a list....

I like the puzzle idea for sure! :D I think what you are talking about is more like a word find puzzle though. It sounds like a lot of fun and will hopefully get everyones attention. It would probably be a good idea to have everyone tell us how many words they are submitting along with their list. This way all I would have to do is subtact from that # to get a total. I will need some help on this though to build a list of roughly 2 or 300 Castlevania based words. If we only use 25 words per puzzle that would last about 2 weeks. Also, we should only keep the puzzle up for 2 days (48 hrs. from post) at a time, if we keep it up for a week it is likely that everyone will find all of the answers and it will be a tie across the board with no winners in the end. We could run the contest for a couple of weeks unless there is a tie game invloved.

AND.....Yes, I would like to keep this CV based. ;) Although, the prize can be anything within the point limit of 1200.

Not usre if you had noticed over in the LoS thread that I updated the OP with the new info for chang while she is gone. I finally got the bulletin up too, sorry I didn't get it up sooner I had a really busy weekend. :(

Also, I am going to get the rest of the word list together so we can start the contest soon. Although, Serbine was going to help me with the list and has been MIA for a while now......I hope he is ok..... :? Anyhow, I will get it all together so I can submit the list to you Gregg. :D

Ok, so I know I said I didn't think I would ever be a part of another union.... I have joined the Monster Hunter Union and really the only reason is that you have to join to be able to post there. Just wanted to let you guys know that, and that me joining won't have any effect on anything I do here as an officer.

This is and will always be my home here at GS, I love you guys! :D

@Gregg: Thanks. :) It's just I am the kind of person who doesn't like to go back on their word, and I take a lot of pride in our union. I don't want you to feel otherwise, that's all. ;)

NOW... I did the update of the menu... some lil issue: OFFICERS OPINION REQUIRED (PM send to officers)

1. what ever happen with this ? the translation site was closed. So anyone has or is able to find the translation of the full drama, so we can posted instead of that. If not this link would have to go to the memory thread.

2. Some of our affilaited unions seems to be dead. So I`m planing to send PM to leaders to let them know that we un-affiliating. (which bring me to my 3rd point.)

The unions I`m planing to move out are: Dante Union, Soul Society (that union means a LOT to me, so I have doubt) and Team eados (I do not think I`ll be even sending a PM to this one)... VOTE agree or no

3. If you know of an active union around that would be good to affiliated with (e1: what about that monster hunter union)... lets bring the option to the table ..

4. We are a active growing union, but that do not mean we forget about recruiting.. :P Is the time to go out and invite members of GS to our union, so get out there... and Tag our union...

1: Honestly, I haven't been following it since the 1st episode, so I have no idea.

2: I've only ever been to 1 of those unions (soul society), and that one hasn't had a single post since August 23rd

Also, as much as it pains me to say it(especially since I'm an officer there), the EAMGAU is dying too, though not nearly as much as the others. You may want to change the union's description in the list (a fast growing union. very active.)

3: MHU sounds good.

chang, I am glad that you have brought all of this up. It is never a bad thing to expand our union and clean up messes (affiliates). :D

I would love to have the translation of the drama, I have always wanted to listen to it. It has been a while since I looked for it so I will see what I can find. With the affiliates, I agree that the ones that are not active any longer should be removed.

If you want, I can talk to the leader at MHU and see how they would feel about an affiliation. From what I can tell, I don't think they would oppose.

I also would be up for recruiting more users from GS, but I am embarassed to say that I don't know how to tag our union. How do we send out invites via PM also? I have recieved a few here and there about being invited to unions.

I think D3's idea about changing the listing description is a good idea as well. :)

I'm not an officer but I'd still like to tell you something about Soul Society... that union's pretty much dead... I was even offered like 2 months ago to be an officer and I'm still to be confirmed... I have sent PM's to the leader and nothing... he's nowhere to be found... the whole staff seems to be MIA so... yeah, I think we should cut out of that one (not out of vengeance mind you :lol: )

Since we are about an old school franchise we could search for similar unions as well (and if they are endorsed as well all the better :))

pretty much like serbine said. go to admin tab (it tends to last a while to load), to the botton of that page, copy the user name into the box on the left, and click add. When you finish adding then click invite members. It will refresh and give you a result (result will appear on the top of that page)

@polter: your input is always welcome :) ... and :( about soul society, I was going but then I had to wait like 1w for a reply, so I stop.

and that is a good idea, let me know if you find an union that get your attention. 

THIS are the endorsed unions FF union sound a good choice, and many of you are FF fans so you may join after affiliation (if you are not a member already)

affiliation done with unions that some of us are already member is better, bc that way we already are contributing with them. :) and after afiliation some others contributions can be done.

the Final Fantasy Experience union's a great choice, I am a member (although I haven't been there in a while.. :P ) but they are very active and friendly, so it'd be cool to ask them. as for the old school unions I'll scout later and if any catches my eye, I'll let you know :)

Serbine,yea, going to CV pages works, but those are share with gamefaqs so some ppl do not join unions there. that said you get a pretty good respond. Also going to the DS forum, starting a X topic of CV or now in the PS3 forum (e.g. what do you think about the new castlevania?" , would you rather still have the DS format for CV? would you get the new CV? .. something that would open a discussion and do not brake the forums rules..) and then inviting those that reply that sound excited about the topic (and do not sound like "troll-profile") works pretty good.

@serbine: you know that I`ll help you with your union if I could. But My next game to play on the list is CC so I will be posting there when I`m more familiar with the game :)
