Blademaster you cant say dont apply the'he already deadthing'because thats what the story gave us, he was already dead during the events of the story. and jus because he could get knock out during the gameplay doesnt mean the fact that he already is dead shouldnt add to his attributes. If that was the case the circumstances could be for anyone that auron indeed was never killed/ko'ed when they played ffx and can use that as an arguement or that cloud would die because when they played he got knocked out by a guard dog and therefore making there strengths relativ. LOL i hope you understand what i'm saying. And i think auron would win based on the fact that he is already dead:) and is a great legendary warrior with alot of experience....cloud is still badazz...:D

Seriously though Auron didn';t need 2 arms to kick everythings ass. He didn't need multiple swords to kick ass. He was all about technique, skill and control. That is why he is stronger.

That brings up another reason why Auron would win. He has alot more experience than Cloud. That counts for alot in battle.

After that he did no fighting what so ever for the next like 15 years until he went back to the future. So, basically most of Aurons badass powers came to him while with Yuna. IT wax kind of like a fabrication of him created from his remanents or something. Certainly not the real thing. Zack is better than Cloud. That's why he was allowed to join Soldier and Cloud wasn't./ That is a fact. GEt over it and get on with your life
thank you blademasterx, and fs_metal; get over yourself. In AC it was Sephiroth, if you weren't paying attention; Kadaj was a larva of sephiroth and when he came into contact with jenova, he "hatched" and became Sephiroth and was killed by Cloud. Deal with it emo child!
Cloud was not accepted into soldier since he didn't have jenova cells implanted in him. But the experiments in him were intended for him to become a clone of Sephiroth. He beat Seph by himself all three times. The final battle he still had to fight his human form.
