I completely forgot about the game, and of course, it ended up being a good one. :(
It was a great game, good job Canes. Close games are what we have come to expect in this rivalry.
Ponder looked great, I'm glad we finally found our quarterback. The U stuffed our runs in the beginning, and we never went back to it to get in rhythm. We ended up with better rushing yards than them, but they tore up our defensive backs. Our best player on defense and special teams was #5 Greg Reid, true freshman. We stole him from the Gators, and then won a close battle with UGA for him. His first college game ever, he had an interception, 3 HUGE returns, and a "forced interception". Can't wait to see what he'll do the next few years.
[QUOTE="geaux321"]I say that and then turn to the NFL game. I turn around and now it's tied.Espurs117
I did the same.
Same here! I turned off the NFL game because it was boring and find Clemson came out of nowhere. Too bad they couldn't do anything on the last drive.
I actually saw Houston coming in there and stealing one. Letdown game written all over. Dez Bryant just took a punt back tho so they are only down 3 now in the 3rd still.
UT finally moves the ball. 3 tds now 27-10 UT.
I haven't done anything new to the water in Oklahoma, been pissing in in for years now.
Tate Forcier is just downright unbelievable right now. The kid can avoid pressure and make throws on the run. He can tuck the ball and go (while making the defender lose is jock on the play). Hell, the kid can even punt the ball inside the 5 if necessary. :P He doesn't, at least so far, make those "freshman mistakes". The defense admittedly neads some work, and the offense could do with a few more weapons. And I wouldn't mind having a reliable place-kicker. But I think it's safe to say that the future is very bright in Ann Arbor. :D
PS. Nice pick with Notre Dame playing for/winning the National Title this year Lou.
I have multiple comments to make against Michigan, but I shall refrain lest I wish to be perma-banned. :evil:spfx30
Go ahead, this I've got to hear. :P
2 things about the last play
the guy fell at 2 seconds left. first down stops clock, what happened?
also, i was yelling at the guy to fall(he was at the 50)ND had a timeout. they could have gotten another play
stupid michigan:evil:
 I'm just upset that I missed a pick, even though it's not really that big of a deal. And honestly, I don't care for ND just as much as I don't care for UM.
But I thought the game was ridiculous in the sense that ND pulled out numerous stops, and still lost. It's exasperating that one year, UM fails, and within months they're back. Plus, I thought there were multiple calls made favoring the Wolverines, but whatever. The game's over. :|
And furthermore, how the hell can the Nitts hope to possibly defeat the Wolverines later this season with the way the teams have been playing? I don't see it happening, and it annoys me. :(

Exactly. I also didn't understand why the clock dropped from :11 to :09 after the kickoff. :|
It wasn't just in that game, though. At one point, Moye was called for offensive pass interference when there wasn't any such offense in the PSU-Cuse game. All these mysterious calls are really starting to annoy me.
All I've got to say to you is: Good luck against the Trojans. :P

There were also several blatant holding calls ND got away with. And I'm not exactly willing to pick Michigan to beat any of the top teams in the conference just yet. Not because I don't think they can. But because I've learned over the last few seasons not to take any games for granted anymore. I am seriously not looking beyond Eastern Michigan (I know I know, "lol EMU") right now. Until it's the week of the UM/PSU game, I'm not even gonna think about it.

The officials ruled that the returner touched the ball, hence why they took time off the clock. And I believe they also ruled it a fumble at the end of the game, and that since the ball hadn't actually touched anything out of bounds, it was still a live ball. Time expired before it did. Game over.

Makes sense. All in all, I've simply blown my pick'ems to oblivion today. At least Penn St. won.
[QUOTE="munchlax99"]a bad start:(Espurs117
They recovered. Barkley just got picked off too. I think this is the big game OSU finally wins, I even picked em in pickem.
ohio state started playing very well.
10-10 halftime
Looks like the Gophers are going to pull this game out against Air Force out 20-13. Was really happy with the way the defense played specifically Nate Triplett who played like a man possessed all game and Weber, and Eskride/Bennett looked pretty good only things that i wasn't really happy about were Decker had a few drops (but also had I think somewhere around 8 catches for 100 yards but most of them were gimmies), but Im just glad there making it a priority to get him the ball and also to get the TE (Tow-Arnett) involved which I also love but my main concern was that there were way too many penalties which cost the Gophers some big plays but thankfully the Gophers had some big plays to make up for those mistakes. Overall the key to the game was that the Gophers got up and forced Air Force to get out of there confort zone and pass the ball great way to wear in the new stadium with a solid win that they really needed after a shaky win against Syracuse. And now on to the Gophers biggest challenge by far in Cal hopefuly the Gophers can build on this win and mount the upset against Cal. But 2-0 a great start going into the tougher part of there schedule.
[QUOTE="GamerForca"]Florida's OL. :|CommanderShiroWorry about your own team.
They've already lost to a team that lost to Houston, so now I have to attack everybody else. Including Georgia getting badly out-playcalled on both sides of the ball and even on special teams, Oregon's continued suckage, Line Kiffin being a lame joke against UCLA at home, and the ACC in general.
And Ohio State. Can't forget about them. Wow.
