Co-Leader?  When did that happen? (I check for updates methodically..all I noticed was that the Co-Leader slot was empty *has been for a while now*)

I have a few questions concerning this idea:

-How would you implement this

-How would we level (requires in depth description)

-Can we get these titles customized?

Ex: I'd have Blue Kratos in place of God Armor Kratos

Ex2: Role specific extras (Reporter, Designer, Assistant, etc.) as 'credentitals' of rep

Statements:

-5-10 levels..just wouldn't cut it...20 is the lowest I can imagine in use (has a GS feel to it)

-Hava any level Names/Titles yet?..Perhaps a theme (much like how we discussed the emblems)

-I'm all about custom tags (and know the difficulty that presents)...I'm sure each of you are aware of my photobucket *and the collection that augments it*...I have a great deal of raw material...

~I'm prepared to help in any way I can...but I am always one to require as few areas left to interpretation as possible (in short: Be precise with the details so I don't use an excessive amount of effort over a misinterpretation like I did last time)

the-creeper

You are Co-Leader from now on..

Answers for your questions.

1/ It'll updated it self.. and if somebody need a rep card or tag.. then he must ask for it in rep thread.

2/ basic rules, be active and earn your name and rep by leader himself. GS level would be mentioned as it had been shown by curlfro.

3/ yes but only with background colours.

In case of card, emblems can be attached. But it'll increase the width of Card.

I'd like to see some additional features.. just like you said.

 Reply @ statements.

It'll be mentioned. I was suggesting numbers (5 or 10) for stars or bar points.

Since there are few rep bars I support your title name idea.

This idea rocks more than emblems since we can have tag or card or bar for any person.

-- I'll create TUGOWU account for photobucket and I'll send GMG and curlfro the pass. We'll use sub-albums for topics like witty caption contest. and  we won't use it for personal needs.

@ curlfro, the card is awesome. I suggest that asking Tyrant and m3ss for making a card or tag. and then if you like them ask for .psd file. So that it must be kept active and updated.

I'm starting small for the night (concerning TUGOWU Photobucket)...I think I have an idea as to why this works better than ONLY emblems *allows all members to have one yet still allow for the individual to "stand out" if you will*

~Know that I have a better picture of the idea now..and I'll be working on that Photobucket most of tomorrow

WORDS OF WARNING: Just in case either of you aren't fully aware...any links (images) made using photobucket *that get edited in ANY way* will break the old links concerned (forcing "patchwork" to be done...this would be one duty that would be particulary annoying for me)

So we will have to decide on permanent names for sub-folders (and folders in general...also locations) well before making links to the images (unless you find this sexy: [X] )

Exactly. As for WoW, Images won't be edited but as for updating.. previous image will be deleted and new image will be uploaded with same name so that it'll have same URL.

@ GMG: 1.) Muneeb is at focusing on college, and asked to be demoted to Recruit for a while. So, who else would make a more awsome co-leader than you? 2.) This would be similar to the emblems we have now, but are more custom made. We'll have the same awards like Assistant, Reporter, Poster, ect. This is just cooler looking in my opinion, and is easier to follow because it has the person's name on it, so we don't have to worry about people using them when they didn't own it. 3.) I currently have five levels, but I'm willing to go up to ten. 4.) The level is just your current GameSpot level. (I made these have our levels one higher, because we'll both be level 20 by the time these will be used.) 5.) For having these custimazable, It would all depend. If I would have to switch emblems every other week, it really wouldn't make sense to make another one for everyone. 6.) I'm still just trying things out, but this is going to be the main design, but things will almost definately change.

My reasons for being all for it is simple...I'm running out of space in my sign..and THAT's no good.

I'll be at college tomorrow morning between 8 and noon...after that I intend to have my friend Myles come over for a day of horror (starting with "The Descent").

~I'll still visit the site to contribute but I have a feeling I won't be too taxed for attendance since Weekends are generally slow

I haven't seen it, but doubt is will be very good. The commercial just emphisized that it was the most bloody movie ever. That's means it's nothing but a gore-fest, and some people like that, but I'm not one of them. I like substance with my gore.

Curlfro...I saw it in theaters..and who said anything about paying (I didn't then *$100 prize card* and I'm not now..)

~I took it off my bff (internets) using torrent..DVD quality I might add...

The Descent is hardly the most bloody movie ever...as a gorehound I can appreciate well done scenes of gorey brutality (which is prefarable actually)..The first half of the movie is very REAL in the sense that it feels like the movie ISN'T about freak caninbals that live in a cave but a movie looking to 'help' you experiencethe intensity of claustrophobia through cinema...the movie is brilliliant.

As a horror fan I had my share of doubts since the first half seemed so softcore (though good as JUST a movie..not horror)...The Second half made up for this in spades..the amount of carnage and murder shown sealed the deal..this movie wins the internet on a massive scale.

My father and I don't waste our time/money by seeing just any horror movie in theaters (that would be wasteful...we do enough of that with our Blockbuster Gold Card anyway)..this movie has a similiar feel to "Alien" in that it runs on suspense/action and a dark environment.

---A horror fan wouldn't likely be disappointed with "The Descent"..if you are a casusal horror movie fan than you best stick to slasher/psychological movies..if you aren't a horror fan..than why would you even bother (it annoys me when non-horror buffs go to see a horror movie just for bragging rights/thrills *incredibly lame watching them soils themselves over such tame films as the Ring..Japanese horror popularity died off quick enough didn't it?*

--The director made Dog Soldiers..if you haven't seen it you likely aren't THAT serious about horror

I prefer some of the classics, even though most of them are pretty soft-core, as you put it. The Sixth Sense, The Shining, I even enjoyed The Village, even though I wouldn't classify it as a suspense film. It was just really good. Though, when it comes to horror entertainment, books are my personal favorite. If a book can scare you ****less, then you know it was good. My interests range from Poe to Stephen King. (My personal favorite is Stephen King. I'm in the middle of Desperation now, and if it hasen't been made into a movie, it should. With Stephen King directing, of cource. He usually stays true to the book.) I liked Shining, but I prefered Stephen King's mini-series over it. There were just somethings in the movie I didn't like. *Spoiler for The Shining, both the book and movie* There were two things in the book I liked better than the movie. 1.) The father slowely went mad in the book, while in the movie, you could pin-point exact scenes where his character changed completely. 2.) The man from the hotel (I believe he was the chef) was killed, even though he had the Shining. That power let's him see the future, so why the hell didn't he know he was going to be killed?! Warning: Gross-ness alert! Also, the one scene that really creeped me out was when the father was checking the room he found his son with bruises around his neck, like he had been strangled. There was a beautiful woman in the shower, and slowely emmerged, completely naked. She walked up to him, and she slowely began to age. Her skin grow wrinkles, and slowely began to melt off. Puss poured out of her skin and slowely began to rot. That really creeped me out. Now, as you can see, I could go on about Stephen King for hours, but I think I should stop now. :P

I like classics too..though I preferred the movie version of the Shining...Jack Nicholson's character (though the transition was like a flip of a page) just felt a whole hell of a lot crazier.  Though I like sophistication in much of the things I do...I have no qualms about taking in large quantities of senseless violence (so long as it is done for the lulz) *Jason for instance is one such killer*

~Desperation is already a movie (sadly I missed it when Dad rented it...didn't make it in time)

A book can not drive fear into me..but I can have emotions driven into outward expression if done well enough (assuming I fully identifiy with the situation/person).  I disapprove of horror movies that rely on "jumper scenes" and random dead bodies...cut away scenes of murder are particularly unsettling...It drives me into a fury to see a good scene wasted by leaving it to imagination (let me indulge d*mn you!).  The only thing lower than the average "jumper scene" is one that doesn't actually work becuase it was shocking to see...but it was a figurative punch in the ear (sudden loud noise)..that isn't fear but meerly annoyance

---As charming as this conversation is..I believe we should continue this in the Off-Topic section (would make for an interesting read if nothing else) when time permits..

I hate movies that rely on Jump Scares. Also, Jack Nicholson kid creep me out. He was made for that character. Also, have you watched The Dark Half? I was thinking of checking that out, as well as The Tommyknockers. (I LOVED that book. I just love how it was an ENTIRE town against one man, and an insane, suicidal drunk at that! It was just so well written and the inventions were so cool. A guy got killed by a FLYING COKE MACHINE!!!!) Also, lets cointinue th9is in the OT thread. We got WAY off topic. :P )

You can use rep figures right under position/status (Leader, Officer or Recruit). Use stars or > or any GoW image (like Blade of Athena) to represent Rep points. Also, represent unfilled rep points with some good color ( like in xbox live card)!

I think the blades of athena would work perfect for rep points! But I don't know much about Xbox Live Cards (I've got a PS2) so could you tell me more about what you mean by "unfilled rep points" ?

It would be kinda cool, but it would be very complicated to make it look just right. Also, instead of having the EXP meter cut from a GOW image we could instead just make one using photoshop. Ex: (This was just a quick example I made. It would look better if we made it for real)

I forgot about the HUD..I'll get it now but I do have something for you to look over curlfro.. I suggest we add a few new officers (I remember officer participation being a concern).  There are users that have met all the requirements.

Soulxxx for instance

-Eternal would be quite willing to take the job

-Zenodoros may not post often but he always speaks politely and is well informed

~In any event, we do need a few more active officers (I await your response)

I already did...got a "Insane Quality" (IMO just High Quality) pic (now you just need to get it ready for editing *set to standard* )
