-We could replace the circle where Magic goes with an emblem/avatar/image..something that makes it custom for the user

I'd do a backflip if we were able to make the numbers show our GS level and link the red bar to our leveling meter (in our profiles) so it fills as our % goes up.

Well done lvlUNE3B..I've updated the newest Home page topic so you can read it now.  Care to send the telegram with the news?  After seeing your suggestion I feel much more comfortable with proceeding...very nicely done..especially that tag-like image..it very well could be used for TUGOWU itself *I would certainly request having the text about the thread removed and replaced with "GodModeGOD" as a prize when we start up a new anagram contest in a few months*

~So puppies have returned...excellent..there were - like last time - a few gems hidden under the avalanche of crap that isn't GoWII specific..though some of the extra information was interesting...WHY did they cut out the Cyclops battle during wall climbing!  That was one of the things I was pushing for! *battles with creatures during Wall Climbing OTHER than meere grunts and harpies*  Imagine Battling a Rock Lava Beast that molds with the wall face and manuevers along it...that would be a heck of an encounter to overcome amirite?

---I'll try and approach the story as Wikipedia does for their "good articles"...quite frankly their more popular articles are more like crappy fanfics with all the vandalism and speculation thrown in here and there...the tone sounds nothing close to professional..just look at the God of War II article..it is a prime example of this *the God of War article shows this pretty well too*  Though amusing...the facts aren't straight and people keeping putting their own spin on the facts *which skews things*

I've changed a few things and have a few questions.

Revived for conversation on the "Members Contributions Thread"... I just have one thing to say in addition... We must come up with a way to get new members, and hopefully - with that - new regulars. There are only like 8 regulars, *By regulars I mean people who are loyal to this union* and that's a bummer. How about sending telegrams containing all the new and special cool stuff in the union? Like the CT for GOWII and... and... whatever else we have or plan on having... I think it's a good start... what say you?Soulxxx

It gets people interested in posting in those threads..not posting overall.  Many of the posters we could call regulars just post in threads like the Witty Caption contest..OT or game threads don't exactly make members 'regular' to me.  Also, getting them interested in the union is nice, but it is interest in God of War itself that I feel truely matters.  The more they play/enjoy the game..the more likely they are to want to post in threads that are more than games *which are common place throughout gamespot unions..let alone the rest of the internet* 

~I'm not sure what the best way to get more regulars is...but I know what won't be doing it when I hear a proposal...At least not regulars by my account.

Attention all TUGOWU members! It seems that of 550+ members we have, only around twenty of you or so post, and about seven of you post regularly. (Everyday/Almost everday) and that needs to stop. Here's a complete list of all games, events, and contests that are being and will be being held in the near future.

The Hurt and Heal contest is still going on. Which creature will be the last one standing?

We're on round 30 of the Witty Caption Contest! Come in and make us LOL!

And if you're not interested in any union games, we also have news and info in the TUGOWU God of War II Comprehensive Thread.

Finally, we will be holding an award ceremony for specific members who have really helped TUGOWU become what is it today.

Suggestions huh, well we could start out small, little a word search or crossword puzzle to start with. Than upgrade to Mythology questions about the game and if they are similar or parallel to the game. Or maybe a guess the God's Game where everyday a clue is given about a certain god, and the first one to answer before the end of the week correctly gets something.

I think the last thing we need is more people invited who sit around and do nothing, I know I am guilty of this but my job was running me about 80 hours a week, But I quit that job in search of a new career so now I will have more time to get back to the fellow gaming community.

What GameSpot allows isn't all that important to me..but I'd be fine with it going down.  However it should return in the future. *When there is more to say*

Create a GOW weapon with specials, Create a relic, Create a boss with greek mytho touch, Create a magic with lvl 1-3 attacks, functionalities, Create a song, Speculate things that will happen in GOW 2& 3 and if u win u get to be officer for a month, etc.

2 Things I don't like hearing about...political and sociological crap.  MLK and the Iraq War namely.  We keep such things out of union discussion for a reason..touchy subjects.  Aside from all that.

We've covered weapons, spells and bosses.  We do need a Create-a-Relic Thread, a 'Functionality/Platforming thread' and an offical place to make speculations *which honestly wouldn't work all the time*.  I'll revive the first three threads if curlfro thinks they'll get attention from more than two people this time (myself and whoever else has something to add at the time).

~I still want to do the 'User bios' thread..it would be humorous and informative...the list would get long quick.  Just users that post enough to matter get int though.  I'm not making a bio for someone who joins (their first day) or someone that has posted a handful of times.  I think it would be a fun thread...

I'm thinking we should hold off just a bit longer....until all the artwork associated with GoWII is released.  From there we can pick a new avatar that is relevant to the new game.
