It's really your call.
You can buy it now and play through while there's still some interest in it, or you can wait till later when it's cheaper and the few people that care have switched focus to new things.
Deeb: >CoO vanilla VH
I see. No Persephone PAIN+ S2 action, eh?
>GoS DL
Noted.
>whether to buy Ascension or not
It can wait. Get it at bottom dollar (and not in a way that gives them any money).
Wulf: >still some interest
I'll get back to it eventually. I'm obviously taking my sweet, sweet time.
>not just for money
To spite the devs?
>other runs to contend with
Of course.
>headache from backlog
Should try finishing a few before adding more.
Still, non of the runs are completed.
BoA PAIN+: Still at box 4(didn't try yet)
GKPAIN+: Euryale, the Cerberus Bastard took me 20 minutes.
Rec. GoWI PAIN: Finished the beginning of The Challenge of Atlas.
I guess all of them will be finished at the same time.
>none completed
Pending as such.
>BoA PAIN+
Box 4 noted. As a reminder, I cannot track this run.
>GKPAIN+
Euryale shouldn't be an issue.
>GoW1 PAIN
>opening area of CoA
So just after both shields?
Wulf: Well spotted.
Deeb: >PAIN or NUR+
>or what
Option 2. He piled on extra conditions and basically made his NUR+ a PAIN for the most part. Then tossed on a loose concern for 'no damage' (but not speed).
>NUR+ NCR+
Rather, NUR+ NCR+ w/o magic while Blades Only (and no damage taken). It's mostly PAIN with 'no damage', but there are violations to no damage in a part or so while he intends to use magic for crossing certain platforming bits (killing Archers). It's a hair away from PAIN proper. I just didn't see why he didn't close the gap or keep to NUR+ and learn his full set of options. That along with his internal system for fairness regarding what exploits he would use and to what degree (avoiding AI boundaries for instance). One mechanic in particular he is avoiding would be ring-out.
>really weird
Even for me, who has encoutnered many students (and runners as a whole) with different tastes, this is a first.
>wouldn't have played GoW1
You would still have ring-out, collisions, petrification, etc. for means to go around Power %, but it would have been a sharp decline in instant kill options in the game as a whole. SWFU1 without ring-out would suffer a similar affect. I'd be furious if most fights were in enclosed areas where my 'grip' couldn't toss people to their death (nor push or repulse cast them down).
>can't
And yet that's how it is. It's a strange thing. Though he keeps noting this preference, I have to keep bringing up how effective ring-out is as an alternative while noting there are some times where OH is not the safest way to use a grab infinite.
Dokapon Kingdom is a 20 hour multiplayer RPG/"party game" solely devoted to the concept of backstabbing your friends and making them hate you.
Fun once you get past the kiddy presenation style, but hard to find other humans with that amount of time on their hands.
As I recall, noobs are the ones who badmouth something without grasping the concept fully.
The RPG is just a vessel to deliver the backstabbing, followed by changing your friend's hair to look like freshly deposited fecal matter.
Feel free to limit yourself to whatever other people think is cool though, I hear that needing validation is a sign of maturity.
Deeb: >RPG
Are you talking about Rockets while we're going on about a genre of game?
Wulf: I'd sooner want to clarify we're talking about the same thing. I recall something about CoD being brought up at some point (somewhere).
>such topics
The question was more broad. You denoted a disinterest in reading (rather than reading something in particular).
I'll test.

Does a drawing of a one-legged dog struggling to make it on his own make you weep like a tiny little girl whose father, on the day he was to return from overseas carrying a pink teddy bear inscribed with the phrase "May we never part again, my angel", ran over her new pet kitten and lost control of the vehicle, slamming into her pregnant mother who was carrying the jewelry box given to her by her recently departed grandmother after a 3 year battle with dementia? Does it make you cry like that?
Because if that dog, struggling to make it on his own with one leg in a multi-legged world, doesn't make you cry like the aforementioned sissy girl, then yes. You are dead.
You are dead on the inside, you heartless monster.
