[QUOTE="Iceferno"]Damn. That sucks. Well, I might be finally getting a job soon. It's more Christmas work for Royal Mail, the main UK mail delivery service. How does this fit in with your story? Well, if I do get the job again, I'll probably be earning more money than I know what to do with (I'm a pretty slow/small spender) and I had the nice idea that I might perhaps make donations to people. I hope you've got PayPal! ;)sputnick2006
WOW dude! thats very generous of you to offer LGD some money like that!
Respect, man. major respect :)
Thanks. :) I figured it's better to try doing something with what I don't spend because if I do get the Royal Mail work again, I will earn a generous amount. :D
Yeah, definitely! Wow, Alec that is extremely generous!!! Unforunately, LGD is only 11 or 12. I don't think she'll have a PayPal account. :roll:But I wish you the best of luck with your future job at the Royal Mail! When you told me about on chatagno, I was really happy for you, and I still am! I know how hard nowadays it is to find a job. It sucks...:(
Oh, and LGD. If anything, I know that the PS2 is now going for only $55 dollars, at least at the GameStop near me. It may be a little more or less around you in California.....
But anyway, I hope you are able to get at least some playing time......All work and no play makes Johnny a dull boy.SOADjoe19
Yeah. LGD does seem to be in an unfair position. If it were me, I wouldn't stand for it. But hey, it's probably not my place to say. I'm hoping that at least when you turn 16, you'll have more freedom. Sounds a little far-off, I know. But your parents really oughta treat you better by that age. They're too overprotective imo.
Uh, Joe, I'm 13. :P
And that is very very nice of you Alec! Wow! But I'm not looking for a new PS2 to buy, and I don't have a PayPal account (but I think my dad does). And he will not like the idea of me getting money in the mail from people he or I don't know in real life (not that your a fraud or anything, lol.) I'm sure you really would, but you don't have to. My parents would not like that one bit.
My current goal is not to get a new PS2 (The one I have now oddly works fine), but to persuade my parents into letting me have my ****ing games back!!!!LittleGreenDog
Ah nuts lol. Well, it's the thought the counts, right? :) I hope you do at least get your games back. You shouldn't have to just be on USU to have a good time ;)
I agree with SOADjoe on this. My sister used to study for hours on end (like the whole day). But unfortunatly she studied so hard that she did really horrible on the test not because she hadn't studied but because she overloaded her mind that she forgot some things. I personally don't study too much (I have two quizes tomarrow and I still haven't studied for them yet) but if I plan myself out (study twice, play games, study once more before going to bed) I actully find out that I retain a lot of information. And don't forget I get lots of A's with this strategy (I am a 4.0 student afterall). If I just studied my mind would not retain anything and I would have to have an aspirin because there would be no way I could concentrate with a throbbing headache. Everybody should have at LEAST a half an hour to an hour of fun everyday so they don't overload and get overstressed with work and projects. Are you allowed to listen to music, LGD?swordmaster3
I seemed to do alright in exams from what I remember. Ofcourse, I was never one for outstanding grades or anything, I seemed to know enough to get by. Most of my GCSEs (exams before you leave High School in the UK) are grade D. The hightest I got was a B in Graphics, which kinda annoyed me because I worked real hard on my project and enjoyed it too! All the other subjects were a complete chore, but not Graphics. :) For my Project, I made a board game of The Italian Job based on the 1969 movie, not the 2003 one :P.
Yeah, I can listen to music. I have an iPod Nano! Right now I have to figure out how to put music in my videos I make with Windows Movie Maker from my iPod. All the help I get doesn't seem to work for me. LittleGreenDog
Ah, I think I remember you mentioning this before. You must mean direcetly importing it from your iPod? Well, if you still aren't managing you could always tell me or anyone else who wishes to help what tracks you want in your video, and I can see if I can find the MP3 somewhere on the net for you. :)
Well thats good. Actually, call it strange but I recently bought a new pair of ear-phones, but I don't own a MP3 player! Actually, I bought them for school so I can listen to my music at the computer in ****without bothering anyone else. :PSorry about getting your age wrong, Erica. Oops! I was close though...:roll:SOADjoe19
Yeah lol you were close. :P I'm doing ok for Headphones at the moment. I've still got the ones that game with my Silver Sony 6GB MP3 Player. The one thing I hate about my player is that there's loads of dust on the front of the insides because the buttons have big gaps and over time, the amount of flaked-off skin has built up under it..... Sorry for that horrible image! But yeah, it does appear very dusty and ancient.
I would like one of those kinda touchscreen-button MP3 Players like the iPod is. But I want to specifically avoid the iPod because I reckon Sony is better in that area anyway. It's just too bad you can't get the Zune over here. I do have some leftover MS Points!
