With there already being 7 matches on the card, I am guessing this will probably be the final card.

Something with Morrison, I am guessing.

Overall PPV looks to be kinda solid.

Id rather see no more Cena/Show.

And my goodness, has Batistas level of suckitude magnified times 1000? I was never a big fan of the guy, but I caught the Raw main event last week and I was :|  Maybe its just me though. Hes the epitome of what I hate the WWE doing.

Shelton and Morrison seem to be going on based on what happen in that promo that Morrison cut only to be interrupted by Benjamin on Smackdown!

According to multiple sources in WWE, many are under the impression that Jeff Hardy has not signed a new contract with WWE and that he will most likely take some time away from the company reports ProWrestling.net.

Matt Hardy had seemed to hint that Jeff may have signed a new deal with the company recently, but later pulled it and stated he enjoyed getting attention from wrestling websites that made his blog #1 on MySpace.

While one WWE source indicated that it is possible Jeff could sign a short-term extension to keep him with the company temporarily, nothing has been confirmed and it is purely speculation at this point. It should be noted that there are no pay issues between WWE and Jeff over a new deal and it is more that he just wants to take some time off and has interest in making a return. There have been reports that Jeff has been telling friends that is currently working on an MTV-s_tyle reality show project.

Is that in relation to the Benoit Family tragedy, or just other things as well

I am talking wrestlers insisting upon keeping kayfabe, such as the Jericho-Rourke BS.

Benoit tragedy did not even enter into my mind.

Extreme Rules looks ok on Paper, but still this could be bad I know I'm not getting it, but that is beside the Point.

I think that this could really suck worst then a TNA PPV.

I like it when WWE Suprises but there will be none here aleast at this PPV.

Well the last time there was a Fatal Four Way, it took place on Smackdown! and it resulted in DQ happening. Remember Jericho using the chair? So who knows if this one will be a NO DQ, which I expect should be since every match is Extreme Rules.

I've just been doing some research and the last time the US Title was defended on PPV was The Great American Bash 2008. Now that's just sad!

I think the thing about this PPV is that its not every gimmick match has to be extreme but every match is under extreme rules so anything goes in any match (santino could even hit Vickie with a chair)rendai

If that is, some how, going to be the case (which, I doubt), WWE has done poor of getting that point across, IMHO.

Jim Ross on Smackdown Kicking Raw's Ass: It looks as if SD will be in a position to kick Raw's ass again this Sunday at "Extreme Rules." In my biased opinion, no match on the card is more eagerly anticipated than the Ladder Match for the World Title with Edge defending against Jeff Hardy. To think that I inked both these men to WWE contracts over a decade ago is a testament to how time flies. I assure you that both men will take ridiculous risks Sunday and I will be shocked if the use of the ladders as weapons doesn't bust someone open.

I'm tempted to buy this, I have the day off work and a lot of spare cash. All that's needed is for me to be convinced to buy it and hardy-edge and rey-jericho may have done that.Mu5uk0

I would also say depending on how much time they are given, Punk-Umaga and Christian-Swagger-Dreamer has the potential to be good.

Match 1: ECW Championship Triple Threat Hardcore Match: Christian (c) vs Jack Swagger vs Tommy Dreamer

I really don't know who to pick here. I could see Dreamer get the win but he's never been like that, he always thinks about other people than himself. Ah...what the hell...lets go with Dreamer as a Thank You

Winner: And New ECW Champion Tommy Dreamer

Match 2: Samoan Strap Match: CM Punk vs Umaga

For the past two PPV's, I went with Punk and for the past two PPV's he lost. So it's got to be third times a charm surely?

Same as their JD match. Show beats on Cena for the majority of the match then Cena gets the win out of nowhere (Just replace everything with Submissions)

I'm very happy that US Title is getting defended here, I hope it's giving enough time. No point in taking the title off Kofi this early

God I can't wait for this one. It's a shame that the stupid Hog Pen Match is on this card because the time wasted on that could be given to a match like this. I see Jericho taking the title so the feud continues and we get something like a Mask vs Title match down the road. If given the right amount of time (hopefully), this could be Match of the Year potential

Why I have got an awful feeling that Big Dave is winning here? Please for the love of god Vince don't put the title on him, I couldn't stand another Batista title run (unless it was a heel run 'Hint' 'Hint' Vince). If Trips doesn't return then Flair does and one of them costs Big Dave the title somehow

It's funny how all the matches I'm looking forward to the most are from Smackdown. Hmm...Go Figure. Anyway, I think this has been built up very well in playing to each man's history in Ladder Matches. With Jeff's future still up in the air, you've got to go with Edge. Another match which has Match of the Year potential

Winner: And Still World Heavyweight Champion Edge 

So even though it's basically JD with Gimmicks, I'm still looking forward to it. Should be a solid show
