Yes. I need another one for the family room for Netflix streaming and Zune Marketplace. That, and the wireless will help because I'm too lazy to go do the wiring under the house.AndrnI don't have the right to juge you but i find really silly and dumb to be buying the same console for every room in the house. And what's the big deal in wireless? Ethernet will always be more reliable and faster.
yeah im definatly getting one. Ive had my 360 for 3 years now only had one RROD and sent it to microsoft about 2 years ago now so if i trade this one in with my wii (ive wanted to get rid of it for ages) ill get it for free as it will have a £200 quid price on it.
my czn has bought xbox360 super elite bundle from play.com 10 days ago and iam realy confused i have got that bundle in 230pounds and in our country in 33000,,,so i want to ask is there any way of xchange ?
does elite will support natal or not
will slim xbox games work on elite
The new slimmer Xbox looks cool. I would love to have one but I will just stick to the 250 gig elite I recently bought. Maybe I will get a slim model down the road as a spare unit in case my current 360 pulls a RROD. I think its a good idea and a great way to add value to the Xbox and along side the Kinect these puppies should sell pretty well.
To Soul Reaper...The PS3 price drop wasn't the only thing that helped boost sales a year ago, it was the redesign. People like smaller more effecient devices and by redesigning the 360 Microsoft hopes help re-sell a system that has been plagued by the RROD and the new features like 250g hard drive and WiFi built in, it will only help justify the price along side the competitors. For those people out there who don't already own a 360 this will be the system to get and it also looks really nice when paired with the Kinect. Lets just hope the new redesign is solid and dependable.
I'm gonna wait for a few months and probably pick it up right before Halo Reach (ZOMG!!!1!! SPACE BATTLEZ!!!!).
I'll get one, it will make 4 xbox 360's in my house. Should i make one of those stupid youtube videos of me with a britist accent saying "I have 4...Xbox 360s"?
plz someone tell me its new version of xbox or simply slim version like ps3 slim????????????????????

If I buy a Slim, that will only make two that I own, one for my personal use, and the other for a more social role in streaming videos from Zune Marketplace or using Netflix. And while a cable will indeed always be better, it makes it easier to swallow that I won't have to go through a day's work beneath the house working on wires, or pay $100 for the Wireless Adapter.
will natal support elite or not
kazi_sheeraz
Kinect supports every 360 SKU out there, from the launch 20GBs to the new 250GBs.
For those that aint seen the unboxing of the new XBOX 360S follow this link and see what it has to offer and YES I am buying one www.engadget.com/2010/06/14/xbox-360-250gb-first-unboxing/
thanx bro plz tell me is it a new version of xbox or just its like ps3 slim i have just bought a super elite so iam confused
It's the same as is but smaller with one big fan rather than 2, it now has an internal hard drive that is removable and NO the old hard drive will not be compatible. WIFI. Oh and a port for KINECT so you don't need extra power supply.
most certainly, my 20 gb is so old and obsolete that i must get one
also, its been dead for four months
Yup, was planning on upgrading my 20GB HDD and buying a wifi adapter, so I might as well just trade in my old one. Plus it'll look so much better next to my PC.
I find it hilarious how many of you guys are just throwing your money at this when you already have an xbox. I just don't see the point...

I don't get it either. The only think that would make me get a new 360 is system failure out of warrenty.

Not even then. My xbox is a piece of crap, 4 years old and out of warranty. I've currently got pennies and electrical tape installed instead of the thermal pads to cope with RRoD and I've replaced my disk drive myself... twice. They aren't getting money from me for something I didn't break.
My 360 Completely failed ( RRoD ) so i guess i have no choice.....
Im still worried about these new consoles reliability given microsofts track record i mean i had 3 consoles RRoD over my consoles life span under warrenty....
The extra HD space will be nice too i guess i had 7GB left...
I probably won't get one. My current Premium 360 seems to be dying, so I'll probably just pick up a cheap 120GB Elite. From what I hear from those who have PS3s, a 250GB HD isn't required despite that fact that they have to install games on their consoles - so a 120GB Elite would suit me fine. I'm hoping the fact that it's got 1yr warranty rather than 3 suggests these slims are more reliable as well...
But it depends on the price difference once it's released in the UK (16th July?). If the difference between a slim and an elite is only £40 then I might as well get one. But damn, it looks like a finger print magnet!
perhapss.. the failure rate for the 360's have kept me away from purchasing one
if microsoft fixes that problem, and promises to not relase any new consle in 5-6 years then im sold for it :)
but it shoudln't be 199.. price drop :P
Maybe I might get it, but I'm not rushing. I want to see how this new 360 goes for the first couple of months, then i'll buy it. There's not much cons I can say about the new xbox. The only bad thing I have to say about it is that it's a fingerprint magnet. And I'm not so sure about that 'touch sensitive' buttons. Anyways it looks really good.
already put my current one up for sale!slvrraven9
Make sure you have some USB drive to transfer your saves and wipe that HDD clean before selling it.
it is WAAAAAAY better than the current one. i like the shiny finish, the fan and vent placement and of course now i can get rid of that stupid 3rd part gaming adapter thats so akwardly placed in my caming cabinet. great to have all the systems built in wifi.....whats NOT to like about it, over the current 360?No. I already have a 360. Why would I buy another one? It's really ugly too.
