lol..I feel ya man, but I have to admit I did trade it in for Mass Effect and that wasn't because I didn't like it anymore. I traded it in because other then improved graphics, there wasn't anything new. I will get it back eventually but not anytime soon.:)

It would have just been collecting dust, right nowI'm playing Mass Effect,COD4, Assassins Creed and Warhawk. I figure in about 6months I'll start to miss it and just pick it up again.

Regardless of the number of people who buy it, they can still all be wrong. Which they are. Shouldn't be anywhere near GOTY. It should get OHGOTY (Over-hyped game of the year). Mass Effect deserves the crown.

Correction. There are two or three versions of this game out ( I forgot) so you cant tell unless you use common sense and visit the Bungie site to see how many games they shipped. And you also don't know if they sold $300,000,000 dollars worth of stuff.

Because of all the hype, many bought it but didn't expect it not to deliver, like me. I might start to play it again if its upcoming update makes it...well...GOOD.

I'll stick to Gears and COD4 thanks.

Two year old topic.. I bet a lot of people will still post in it though.

Halo3 is a good game. I bash very little on the game itself as honestly it has almost everything I like in a shooter minus a few hitbox issues that can't be helped and some strange things the physics engine tends to do when stressed out. I do however quite often bash the Halo3 community, they worship the game and then log into Xbox and whine endlessly about how Bungie is crap and how this and that is unfair. They cheat and trash talk and use racial slurs to create a huge storm of crap and evil. Then they say everyone is unfair for disliking them.

In my honest, dimwitted opinion Halo3 is a good game turned crap by a community of people who are convinced they are much more important then the next guy who plays. Everyone demands for Bungie, it is made worse since their demands are usually stupid and would shave the fine lines of fairness apart. 'I want my hitscan BR back!' 'I want just BR starts!' 'Bungie should ban little kids' 'Bungie should ban themselves' 'Bungie should make the spartan laser fire like a machine gun with unlimited ammo and make kitten noises when it kills'.

Bungie's community thinks it knows all and will attempt to eat any and everyone who disagrees alive with fanboyism and stupidity about stats.

Tl;Dr - Halo3 might have been a greater game if the stain glass wasn't fogged over with steamy, chunky, foul-smelling slime.

Hey, I feel the same way. It sickens me to think that some people actually bought a 360 ONLY for Halo 3. Also, Modern Warfare lost most of it's players when World at War came out, so yeah, can't say anything about that.

I'm not bashing Halo. Halo was awesome and innovated the console FPS in fact I still play it. It's Halo 2 and 3 the sucked and were way overrated.

Halo 3 is a great game, and is alot of fun thats all that matters!
