Pass on the need for speed game.

Theres loads of good xbox 360 games out dere but my personal recommendation would be gears of war........

In my opinion it is the best game out on the market......thats my opion....

the games unique and the whole style is excellent......must buy.....if u havnt got it buy it!!!!

Besides that I would recommend Halo and Mass effect.....Also great games

If ur a racing fan buy Forza Motorsport 2 ..... best racing game out on the market ..... so realistic.... also excellent.

Tbh, i didn't like either. But they do make excellent rents. They both get too repetitive but are good for a while

i haven't played DMC4, but AC is a rental. the serious lack of any replay value doesn't justify $60. I dont know about DMC4. I tried the demo and it was pretty cool, however I'm not convinced that buying it is the right option.

Hi, there. I was wondering if people could recommend some single-player ONLY games that don't require XBOX LIVE ? I'm not sure about getting Xbox Live subscription yet, so I'm trying to find some offline games that are really good.

I'm already planning on getting The Darkness, Mass Effect, and Bioshock.

Any others I should get???

should i get metal arms: glitch in the system? it just came out for xbox original i played it for the gamecube i like the game. it about a robot that kills other robots, its a fast past game.iam2green

I have that game, it's brilliant! Very funny, and it's a pretty good shooter in its own right. Pretty tough game, though. Definitely worth picking up :)

Assassins Creed(overrated but still a good game),Lost Odyssey,Dead Rising and believe it or not, Viva Pinata were all great games imo and all of them are single player only.

Dead Rising, Viva Pinata, GTAIV and Kameo spring to mind. You could also have a look at Condemned.

EDIT: Oblivion and Lost Odyssey are also great aswell.

Dead Rising, Viva Pinata, GTAIV and Kameo spring to mind. You could also have a look at Condemned.

EDIT: Oblivion and Lost Odyssey are also great aswell.

Already have played Condemned, and Oblivion. I loved Forza, so I might check out the sequel. Might check out those Rare games, also. Can't get GTA IV or Lost Odysseyright now, will wait until they come down in price :)

Who here loves Fable

I absolutly can not wait until Fable 2 comes littrely it is killing me but the good thing is that it comes out near my birthday.

The day Fable 2 comes out i am buying it and having a week of school and if it comes out in the school when i go back to school ill have a week of anyway.

Condemned 2's a great game but multiplayer's eh. Halo 3,COD4,and R6V:2 are all pretty great multiplayer games with a good(not great) singleplayer.

Since there's no XBOX thread, I came here. Can any one recommend any really fun ORIGINAL XBOX games? I Bought serious sam 2 yesterday but it's not backwards compatible on my 360 so I need to return it. Any one have any good 4 PERSON games that are backwards compatible? ThanksWatermelon4372

Loads. Here's a few essentials, if you don't have them: Psychonauts, Metal Arms: Glitch in the System, Star Wars: Republic Commando, KOTOR,Max Payne series.

Just recently got a Xbox360, only owning a PS2 Wii and DS this has understandably opened up a lot of games that I wouldn't have otherwise been able to play; I've been desperate for Oblivion since I played on Morrowind years ago (it's still one of my favorite games to this day, so I know Oblivion is a safe bet) and it's really cheap now, about £13 - £20. On the other hand there's GTA4, likewise I've really enjoyed the previous games but it's not so cheap, and it might still be a little difficult to get hold of.

On the topic of Oblivion, I *could* get the basic game for cheap, but I really like the look of the expansion; but I aren't that interested in playing online games nor can I afford to hook my 360 up to the internet and pay for a Live subscription, so my only option really is the GOTY edition, but thats nearly four times the price of the basic game - does the GOTY edition merit such a price? Would I still need a Live account to use the expansions with a GOTY copy? I'm aware that I won't be able to download content without having my 360 connected but what what does that entail?

Go with Halo3 it'll take a lot longer. The other two are alittle short but great buys but i doubt they'll last you until the end of June.

Any good racing except Forza and PGR that have been out a while so i can them cheap whilst i wait for DBZ Burst Limit.rastaman219

I already own Oblivion on my PC but didn't like how it played on that system so I think buying it on the Xbox 360 will be better as it got a higher score on the 360 and seems made for it. I'm also an achievement whore and me and my friend can talk to eachother and play it. I also really want Fight Night Round 3.

I would say halo 3 just because fight night wont last that long and you said you already had oblivion

but call of duty 4 has amazing online multiplayer i would also recommend that.
