k so im trying to decide on whether to get Rock Band or GHIII, or neither (wait 4 RB2/GH:WT); here's my situation
I could get Rock Band, cuz it seems like a refreshing alternative to GH (since I already have GHII), it (IMO) has a slightly better soundtrack than GHII (as well as DLC that crushes GH competition), and its guitar is much easier than GHIII's insanley difficult hard and expert careers. HOWEVER, I feel I wont get the most out of Rock BAnd if i don't have the drums and singing as part of the experience (i could get them, but i dont live in the states and am currently here on vacation, so bringing back the drums [which are more important to me because i play them in real life) would be a problem to bring back home with me to the Middle East where I live, and they sell Rock Band with all the instruments for a ridiculous amount of $$ where I live (almost $350 if you did a currency exchange!)), and because of that, I feel that I might as well get GH cuz I have more friends that play it, etc.
I could get GH, cuz im used to it, have a lot of friends that play it than rock band, and I like the soundtrack. HOWEVER, the difficulty makes the game feel like a chore, and rock band, despite not having drums and singing to go along with it and being $20 (which isnt important, really) more in price (if i bought it used), might be a more satisfying experience for me because of the decreased difficulty, among other things.
I could also get neither, and just wait for Rock Band 2 or Guitar Hero: World Tour, because theyll both have drums and singing and I'll have a bigger budget when they come out, so I could get either of them, if not both, since the instruments are backwards compatible (im pretty sure). However, when they come out, I won't be in the States so theyll be pretty expensive.
I could also get both, but ive thought of the possibility countless times, and every time I do I come to the same conclusion: it's pointless
Im having a hell of a lot of trouble deciding what to do, so give me your opinions please...
