I've been looking for a good 4-player co-op game. I want something to play with my friends between Gears 2 and Rock Band 2 this fall/winter. Originally, I wanted to get Too Human, but I just learned that it's only going to have 2-player co-op. So, a game maybe along those lines. Something action-y or whatever. No shooters. I have enough of those.fireball_016
This 360 recommendation thread is great. Can anyone tell me if The Darkness is a good game to spend money on or even Burnout Paradise ?Lightchaos
I loved the darkness... dont go in expecting a great online experience though. The game was just something... fresh. I would say only get burnout paradise if your a fan of the series. imo. Its fun for about a week.

Hard to find a good one thats not a shooter... but Left 4 Dead looks awesome. Valve FTW!!
ok guys here is my question. i am looking for something that is not a shooter, by default is not in third person. is fast paced, and is very actionny.
basically a third person action adventure game. something like too human or devilmaycry. i was going to get devil may cry.. but there are too many puzzles.
i also want to know, are there any good arcadey racers on the 360? i dont like forza or pgr because they are too realistic and i crash into the walls too much. i was thinking about flatout uc. but it only has one mode in the demo that i liked,
in racing games that i play, i like a lot of jumps.

DiRT is a lot of fun... and you can find it for like $25. Also you should check out crackdown or dead rising. Also around $25 each.

Crackdown, Assassin's Creed, Bioshock, Dead Rising, Tomb Raider

DiRT is an excellent racer, though caters more towards being a sim than an arcade racer. I also love PGR, so this may make it unsuitable for you.
If you're looking for arcade racers with little regard to realism or simulation, then look for games like Flatout UC, Sega Rally, Burnout Paradise, Ridge Racer.
Test Drive Unlimited strikes for the middle ground, providing great realism with the huge selection of authentic cars, while the handling is very forgiving and doesn't punish you for driving it like an arcade.
I'll soon own a 360. I'll keep on using my PS3 for multiplats but I'm getting one to play the exclusives. The exclusives already out that I'm definately getting are Gears, Halo 3, Mass Effect and LO. Since I haven't been following the 360 game library very well, I know there must be many good exclusisives that I'd miss out on since I simply don't know them. I think I heard people saying they liked Crackdown and Dead Rising for instance, two games that I don't know much about.
Could you please suggest some exclusives that I should definately get?

Yes without a doubt get Crackdown and Dead Rising, you can find them both for $25 or so. If you like racers get PGR4 or Forza 2, can't go wrong with either of them. Also check out some arcade titles like Geometry wars 2, and Braid.
Just got a 360. I got Eternal Sonata, which is a great game so far and I'm really enjoying it.
I like RPG games and I'm definitely getting Tales of Vesperia when it comes out 10 days from now :D.
Are there any other RPG games I can look forward to? There's only 4 on the front page and I'm not interested in them except ES, which I just got :P.
I like Action Adventure games and Devil May Cry 4 looks fantastic. I've played Assassin's Creed and I had a lot of fun with that game. I got pretty far and I enjoyed it quite a bit.
Any game recommendations are appreciated.
Edit: I also like FPS games, but not console shooters so if you can help it, don't recommend those for me :P. Thanks.

Dark_Link142
edit makes no sense, you like FPS's but you don't want any recomendation?
anyways, for other RPGs, lost oddysey is great I hear, you already have ES and you're getting ToV... I'd say check out infinite undiscovery, last remnant and FF13. Also DMC4 is very good.
Hey, I'm planning to pick up an Xbox360 soon and I'm wondering what games to get with it. I know I'm going to get Bioshock but what else should I get? Pudgyboi
any genre preference?

Condemned Criminal Origins
Condemned 2 Bloodshot
[Go for that scare combo] :D
[Good selection]
Halo 3
Gears Of War
Dead Rising
GTA IV
Soul Calibur IV
Lost Planet Colonies
Thanks grafkhun. I just looked into Infinite Undiscovery. Looks great.
I completely forgot about FFXIII and I'm about to look into Last Remnant.
And what I meant by the edit was that I'm not a fan of console shooters. I prefer PC's for that. I don't really enjoy using the analogs for aiming. Give me a keyboard and mouse anyday :P.
i can get two games which ones should i get
far cry 2, gears of war 2, Left 4 Dead
Darth_Quanstars
why only two? also are those your only 3 games you're considering? if they are, I don't recomend any of them, rather just save your money. you could also wait for price drops.

Im thinking about geometry2, and another 800 game like bomberman live, ikaragu alien hommid, or something else. Thanks! Also i have no other arcade games.
Oh and do people still play Uno? Because i like online games as well :D

DaViD_99
well I would suggest, Ikaruga and CV: SOTN. if you want online there is Aces of the Galaxy.
Hey, I need some help. I have 400 MS points and I need to know what Arcade game I should get.wii_dude101
I would suggest saving that, get another 800 points and buy Castle crashers.
BF: Bad Company or Call of Duty 4.
I'm looking for the shooter with a better single player campaign and a better storyline. I'm also looking for a funner online experience. (I dont really care about ranking up or anything) :P. My friends own both games so I'll always have a friend to play with, no matter what game I choose.
What one is best for me? Thanks for the suggestions. :D

UNO is good and still has a large online community as it is quite a sociable game when you use your mic. Some also use the Live vision camera though it isn't required.
Puzzle Quest and Castlevania SOTN are both excellent XBLA games you can get for 800MS each. PQ can easily last over 20 hours on a single playthrough for one character, and has good replay if you use one of the other characters.
I've also recently been playing Outpost Kaloki X (800 MS) which is a really good game if you like strategy and management

UNO, Assault Heroes and Doom are all good choices for only 400MS

why not both? I would say go with either one really.
Unsure whether or not I should get Mass Effect or The Orange Box.
I really want to play a good RPG, but I also really want to play an online-based game like a shooter.

well in ToB only TF2 is online, which is pretty good I hear, but I don't know if you want to get ToB just for TF2. since you want an RPG as well, I would go with mass effect.

While The Orange Box is a very good package to get, the online side isn't the greatest. The community is fairly small, and Valve are not releasing updates which they have made for the PC version. If you're looking for a good shooter, then TOB is a good choice, just not if you are looking for a strong online side with lots of players. Get TF2 for PC and you will be very happy with it (Steam are having a free weekend this weekend, so you can get TF2 for free and play it Friday - Sunday)
Mass Effect is a very good RPG, so that's probably your best bet

Call of Duty 4 has a pretty short campaign but it has a great online mode, can't go wrong with it.
[QUOTE="Rave0800"]is there a long adventure game with FPS elements that has a good or decent story?
grafkhun
FPS elements? you mean from a first perosn point of view? since you also want a good story, I would say bioshock.
First Person shooter i bought Bioshock the other week hell of a game:D[QUOTE="grafkhun"][QUOTE="Rave0800"]is there a long adventure game with FPS elements that has a good or decent story?

I recommend everyone who really enjoyed the demo of Too Human to buy the game and ignore the reviews. The faults the reviews complain about are really overblown or nonexistent.Snowboarder99
Exactly the game is so underrated its not even funny :?...Give this game a chance...don't miss out on a great game, if you liked the demo you have a pretty good chance of loving it like me :)
EDIT: btw, if you haven't noticed I'm not speakin to you Snowboarder99 :P

Agreed. Too Human is a very good game, despite flaws.
How is the reply value on the following games?
Marble Blast Ultra
Metal Slug 3
Aces of the Galaxy
Rez HD
Galaga
Braid
Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2
Galaga Legions
Bionic Commando Rearmed
I'll get a few of them once I know. Thanks.Namaste86
all those games' replay value will be high if you enjoy them. if you love metal slug like I do you'll be replaying metal slug 3 all day, but if you don't like it then you won't. all those games depend of your personal enjoyment really.
So I played the Soul Calibur 4 demo and loved it, however, I heard it is similar to SC 3, which I rented and hated. So, should I get SC 4?

DeathHeart95
no, SC IV is going even further from the series roots than SC III did.
