Ur right, however going from GTA Vice City to GTA San Andreas, there wasnt that much change. only the location and the protagonist changed. weapons were the same and basically the vehicules too. this new GTA should be good, for its in the smallest changes that are made that make a newer GTA fun and exciting to play. people like GTA cause its fun and realistic, but that its a game and not real life. people like that u can play a video game and have no limitations on wut u can do. GTA 4 is more realistic with the graphics and this alone should make anyone go out to buy it. but u r right man(woman...idk...sry) there rnt that many changes that are going to be made, and u never know about the story line........thats y we all have gamespot accounts to see the ratings and opinions from hundreds or people on games.
Why is everyone so focussed on the location? A fictional location can be just as good as a real one, and most times better as the creators can make it however they want. It sounds like the guy in the video is russian, so I wonder how that is going to influence the game?
Did anyone else notice the 300C's driving around? I wonder if this means they are going to bring real vehicles into the game rather than imitations?
Lastly, I really wanted to see some sort of action so I could see this physics engine that is rumoured to be in the game. If it does what they say it will, than that will be Awesome!

The Russian Mob is brutal, they're just not as romantisized or "popular" as the Itallian mob. I agree, I think it will be the Russian Mob, and its about damn time. Jewish Mafia and Irish Mob associations in the game would be cool too.
OH YES!!!!!!!!!!!! GTA is what games are all about, lets face it how many games have tried to copy GTA, and how many have actually been anywhere near as good as GTA NONE. God this release date seems so far away.
Expect GTA Series to he Numero 4 at the end of the year :D

It's possible but don't forget there will be an aweful lot of Madden floating as well on PS2, Xbox, 360, Wii, and PS3 and maybe on GC (does it get Madden).
first i was on fire when i heard that there will be a trailer of gta IV but when i saw the trailer it was kind of dull , i mean the character he's not really gangster like cj and you can't really show then you vehicle you know and he has a lousy voice.:D
I find the new trailer really impressive compared to previous GTA games, I found that GTA : San Andreas was the worst out of the series, i felt like i was going in circles which i was. The graphic in the new GTA IV is a big improvement since the last and when it does release it will be a great game one that may go down as the best GTA ever.
I agree those graphics were great. I honestly don't care who is the main character because the GTA stories are great. I just hope that they change the missions a bit because I was getting sick of the whole "shoot that guy", "destroy this car". It got a bit boring. But if it is like that I'll buy this game anyway. Boring missions are a small price to pay for a game of GTA's calibur.
Watched this trailer several times. Graphic is nice, really nice :D Physic not showed, but I think that will be good. These also some look how the cars and pedestrian's look. The city is fantastic, maybe some bigger version of Liberty City ;)
The graphics on the character arn't as good as you'd expect for the rest of what is shown in the video. But that doesn't matter much because this is going to be a great game.
I love these games! My personal favourite is vice city. If this game is anything like the trailer it will look and play amazing and will be one of the best games on the 360!
I just wanna know why for this one they are heading for a Russian mob boss. I mean I know that there are huge Russian mobs, but haven't all the other ones been like the Italian Mafia?

GTA coming to 360? Sorry but i didnt realise a gta game would come to 360, o well. Because i didntr catch up the updats on the gta games i mean i got alot of other games to check out.. Well it looks dope. Peace.
well although its been mentioned that there's gonna be no planes i dont think that cancels or helicopters or (my personal favorite which i think many have forgotten) the fying cars code. so i guess ill probably still get this game
It'll probably set in Tokyo and the game spans all of Tokyo, which would be cool, a whole country. You're character would probably a Japanese-Chinese hybrid that got booted out of the Yakuza and working for the Police to get into the Chinese Triads. You will run around with airsoft guns because firearms are banned in Japan but you hack the cops and enemies up with your Samurai sword blade that you found at the Sony Headquarters and combining the blade with the hilt and handle found in Nintendo headquarters. You ultimately reach ninja status. I really hope they don't set it in the future. A sci-fi GTA? Uugghh! A Central and South American influence would be cool. Running around with a Tony Montana Scarface accent trying to push and move kilotons of drugs. Driving through the rainforests and such. But I don't think its considered GTA to have your car stolen in that part of the world. Cops would call it "Sh!t outta luck".Ghostse7en
i want this now! i just hope that it contains online multiplayer co-op. that would be great and i cant see why not. also do we know how big it is.the last one was big enough,get any bigger and it will take hours to drive across and that dosnt sound like fun to me. anyway im sure it will be the dogs balls just like every other gta.
GTA4 wow the trailer was kool it trying to make its sales on the location, i know ny is hot but i live here itll be kool to c somethin that looks like my house and be able to burn it down or buy it. now idk wat the new features will be but itll be cool to do alot more than just buy the house but will be able to uprade it due the area and space its in, and also alot more reaction with the actual living conditions of the player. bring in hi def costimization to keeping it in that condition like ur in the world actualy doing all those things
I think the graphics look amazing compared to the previous graphics they had for GTA. It's a good step up. Though I hope they bring out a gameplay movie sometime soon so we can actually see what it looks froma player's point of view. That is where you get the best amount of information.
I hope they expand on weapons and vehicles. Also put in more side missions so they aren't always the same type. I'm sure they will be doing this. I have a lot of trust in Rockstar for their games, I'm sure they will make GTA: IV something great!
The trailer didn't show much at all. But it is Rockstar, so I didn't expect to see very much. Since they are so mysterious with their upcoming games.

That's the way it should be though. They shouldn't show a whole lot just what it looks like a possibly a few new features added. If they show everything before it comes out, then it doesn't feel like there is much left to be seen. I personally would rather experience it all myself then see it all before I play it.
From what they showed, is the graphics are great, the Liberty City is based on New York atmosphere and that it looks like it's based totally on a new character. They could show a little more but I don't think I want to see a lot more. It looks like the subway and train station might play a big part in this one also from the looks of the trailer, but that's just a lazy quess.
