Most of the shows I watch are about to end for the season.
What am I supposed to watch while waiting for the next season?
===
CSI Stuff:
New York - I read that Aiden Burn will return (not for good, unfortunately) before the season ends to finally get closure on that rape case. Will they be able to catch DJ Pratt this time? And I how would she react/interact with her replacement (Lindsay)?
Las Vegas - Someone's going to die? Does that mean someone's leaving?! NOOOOOOOOO!!!

One word - WOW.
I'm pretty sure I'll be writing the exact same thing I wrote in my review for this episode in here, but what can I say? I loved the episode. It did rock my world.
For the sake of being organized, I'll probably talk about the characters one by one.
First off, it's Mac. I was kind of disappointed that he wasn't the one who was with Stella all the way, then again I figured that him spear-heading the processing of Stella's apartment was enough. And he was working Stella's case and the dead driver's. Talk about multi-tasking.
Next up is Flack. He was the one who stayed with Stella the whole time, and it was cool that he was gentle with her while trying to figure out what happened. He wasn't rushing her or anything; he was letting her take her time, and I think that's important when you're trying to make sense of something as traumatizing as Stella's situation.
Hawkes was rarely seen in this episode. I think if you put together all this scenes, he'd have about five minutes of airtime total. I have to admit, he's my least favorite of all the CSIs but maybe there's an episode just around the corner to make me change my mind.
Danny is totally different from the previous episode. Here he was the calm one, the one who knows that an investigator should have a clear head to be able to close a case. It was nice of him, not to mention responsible, to keep Lindsay focused. I can imagine her attitude caught him off-guard since she was always the cool-headed one, but he had the presence of mind not to question her about her reaction and to just calm her down.
It was nice to Lindsay on the edge, actually. For the past episodes, she was always so dedicated that almost nothing could break her concentration on a case. That scene in the interrogation room when she finally blew up of frustration was the first intense feeling I've seen her have, and I also liked how helpless she sounded when she told Danny she wished there was something they could do to help. Seeing her all worked up because of Stella had me have a lot of questions at the top of my head. Why was her reaction like that? Was it something that happened in the past? Was that something the reason she became a CSI in the first place? What is it that makes her tick? What exactly is her "bloody secret" that she hinted on one of the previous episodes? I have to say, her backstory is what I'm really looking forward to find out (because she is officially my favorite female CSI, hehe).
Last but not the least, Stella. The viewers have had momentary glimpses of her private life since we've been seeing Frankie since the start of the season, but this one took a really close and twisted look on their relationship. Honestly, I had no idea Frankie would turn out the psychotic boyfriend who couldn't take rejection that he actually was. As Stella, I thought he was harmless. I guess it just goes to show that looks can really be deceiving. Anyway, I was really impressed with Stella's presence of mind while she was in the bathtub all tied up. If it were me, I'd probably be in a state of shock that I'd just sit there and think it was all just a bad dream. Maybe being trained as a CSI makes your survival instincts really kick in when you need it.
I think Stella and Lindsay were the stars of this episode. Kudos to the actresses who did a phenomenal job in portraying their characters, and I look forward to more great episodes.

Agent Booth really got on my nerves in the latest Bones episode (The Graft in the Girl). I think he's underestimating Bones' social capabilities too much, but who can really blame him. Dr. Brennan could use a little sensitivity training at times.
Okay, that was one weird paragraph. I talk smack then take it back. Haha. Must be the sleep deprivation.
On to other TV news (and I'm sure most of you know this already), Kellie Pickler got the boot on American Idol. Well, it's about time! Now that all the really good ones are left (I'm still disappointed with Mandisa though), the competition's gonna get tougher but better.
I just saw the latest One Tree Hill episode, and all I can say is this: Peyton is in a helluva lot of trouble. And I thought she was over Lucas. I gotta say, though, that was one good twist in the story. I've always been a bit of a Leyton fan, so I'd like to see where this goes.
Still haven't seen the latest CSI:NY episode with Kid Rock. I probably will in an hour or so, but after reading the reviews I CAN'T WAIT!
Hmmm, it looks like my inner tv-addiction is starting to manifest. Is that a good thing?

Medical Investigation

If it weren't for my new favorite actress Anna Belknap, I never would've known this show existed. Not that I've seen an episode, but from the articles I've been reading lately, I'd love to have a copy of this series mainly because of Ms. Belknap. She's doing a wonderful job in CSI:NY lately, and I'd love to see the extent of her acting abilities. I heard her character in Medical Investigation (Eva Rossi) is a complete opposite of Det. Lindsay Monroe, and that's what I want to see.
Problem is, the show got cancelled after only one season and I highly doubt they are going to release a DVD (it's been a year since the show was stopped). I tried looking for copies, unfortunately they're all French or German - languages I absolutely can NOT understand for I am but a mere bi-lingual human being.
This is getting frustrating. Now I have to ask my tv-addict friends if they have this series. If they don't, then...I don't know.

Another One

Oh wow, another blog. What conceivable purpose does having 4 blogs have?
I have no idea.
Anyway, since this is a site for anything and everything TV, I should probably write about the shows I watch (duh. Hahaha). I'm not really a TV addict, but when I start watching a show and like it, I really REALLY like it. So far the only ones I watch religiously are American Idol, One Tree Hill, CSI and CSI:NY.
Okay, this isn't really a very meaningful first entry but what the heck. I'll probably post again when I feel like it, or when something happens on one of the show I watch and I can't contain myself. ^_^
