All I'm saying is.....dont blame brand loyalty for people not wanting the 360, you got people still buying the PS2, so you're saying that brand loyalty towards the PS2 and not the PS3?

CubanBlunt

im just saying Sony brand power, not PS2 or PS2 brand power. Sony brand power......is responsible for consumers not flocking to 360 as easily.

Is that a problem?

Judging by global sales, no, its a nuisance yes, but no problem. PS3 is last place after all.

So you call brand loyalty a excuse......all that is, is personal preference.

CubanBlunt

Well if PS1 and PS2 dominated in Europe and Japan..............expect consumers not as likely to buy a new brand as easily. I mean MS is only winning in Europe because they released early and have a HUGE price gap. Not even that is working in Japan. If your gonna sit there and tell be Sony brand loyalty doesnt exist then im done talking to you.

[QUOTE="-M117-"]The generation ends when the next one begins killerfist
Well yeah, that should be obvious. :P

Well I kinda had a sinister agenda to this................. If PS3 beats 360 in global sales when the next gen is upon us, will it matter or will history remember 360 being #2 when the generation ended?

So why are 360/PS3/Wii still called next gen systems? When a game is reviewed and does well, reviewers call it "a true next gen experience" and yet refer to the PS2 as last gen. So are we somewhere in the middle lol?mmirza23
I believe when they say next gen, they refer to our current gen. Since PS2 still lingers I guess they feel they must make the distinction.

To me, the 360 anit doin shoot, a year head start and only 7 mill ahead of the PS3, with a year head start the 360 should be like 10-15 mill ahead. They needed that head start because if they both launched in the same year, the PS3 would be ahead....or dead even

CubanBlunt

you can thank PS2 brand loyalty stunting 360 growth in the first year. RROD too.

Agree? Sure past gen systems can still be on the market, but they will be thereafter be known as last gen systems.

[QUOTE="-M117-"][QUOTE="TheEliteTeam20"] I think it's relatively unfair to compare Killzone 2 to Halo 3. Anyway, it's sad that Sony hasn't informed us about the sales of Killzone 2. At least Microsoft reported that Halo Wars had sold 1 million. If Killzone 2 would have done it, too, Sony would have said it, right?lundy86_4

I think we should comapre KZ2 to halo 3. After all, it was the cows who claimed KZ2 would be better then Halo 3. Now the results are in and their cockyness has come back to bite them.

That's a matter of opinion though, as some people find KZ2 better than Halo 3. IMO opinion I find I like the multiplayer more, the single player is on a similar level apart from story, which Halo wins

true, we all have opinions. But cows claimed to win with numbers, not just opinions. Reviews, sales, system selling, etc. They can think KZ2 is better, w/e. But they cant hope to make a good argument if they wanna site something for a reference, as Halo 3 has KZ2 beat in spades.
