Bruce Lee Kobe V or Dark Knight Kobe V or Lebron VII Dunkman?Orlando_Magic
I'd go with the Bruce Lee's. Best colorway thus far, and the V's are dope from what I hear.

I've heard a few tracks by Curren$y, and I like what I hear. I haven't listened to much of his music, but I would like to hear more so can someone suggest some good albums or mixtapes that he's done aside from this?cmpepper23
His only album called This Ain't No Mixtape is pretty good, as well as the How Fly mixtape he did with Wiz Khalifa.

Very good. The whole album is good thus far, aside from Birdman's verse.

I don't listen to 2Pac a lot, but I remember liking the Makaveli album more than anything else he put out. He had better beats on other projects, but the lyrics on the Makavelialbum are the most consistent IMO.

[QUOTE="-Methtical-"][QUOTE="Colt45fool"]

this super bowl is lame...i don't care about it at all.

i like drew brees and all, but this would have been a much better super bowl had it been saints vs. jets. even the vikings being in there vs. the colts/jets would have been more entertaining. these two teams are boring imo. go saints i guess

Ryder004

The Jets are far more boring to watch than the Colts or the Saints. They pound the ball 50 times a game and Sanchez makes his living throwing 5 yard passes. Their defense is great, but not especially exciting to watch. They just usually stuff runningbacks and prevent big plays in the air. Colts and Saints will be loaded with offensive production and surely some big plays. But then again, you are a Jets fan, so I can see why you would like watching the Jets play.

wow you said it, good explanation.

and he is right, watching a team that pounds the rock and plays great defense is boring.

and sanzhez does make a career throwing a playaction pass to keller

Not always true, 2000 Ravens were one of my favorite teams to watch this decade and they couldn't throw for anything. But that defense was freakish...

oh dear god, you seem to have no clue on what you're talking about.

I don't know where you get your idea of homophobic remarks from, because it CLEARLY isn't from IT music. What you seem to forget is that we''re discussing hip-hop here...you know...the genre that is FAMOUS for being quite homophobic :| ?

Degrading women? Have you listened to You Never Know? Have you ever heard a rapper say something like he'd wish he "could replace every raped virgin's broken hymen"? Not only do you seem to forget that women degredation is common in hip-hop music regardless, but you ironically try to come up with lame reasonings why IT wasn't as good as...well...GUCCI MANE. Yeah, he isn't any of those at all...:|

HaSheeSh_basic

Like I stated before I hadn't listened to those albums in 2-3 years, and was going off of why I didn't like them from what I remembered. My memory apparently served me wrong. I thought I remembered him using excessive homophobic slurs and degraded women a lot, I'm not sure why I had gotten that impression. I think I remembered the times he goes over the top with the braggodocio stuff ("I'll beat you until you're a vegetable/and wake up in the hospital covered in poisonous chemicals/in a fetal position with your head sewn to your testicles" for example) as being littered with said slurs and degradations. I was wrong.

And I understand that rap is greatly homophobic and degrades women like no other. They reason I held it against IT is that he is clearly a smart guy, and he deals with some complex subject matter and makes great rhymes. However I don't think a rapper as intelligent as Immortal Technique needs to use homophobic slurs and degrade women, he's more clever than that and he knocks himself down a peg when he throws some slur in the song (granted he does it much more rarely than I remembered). That's why I would hold it against a rapper like IT and not Gucci, because Gucci is clearly not half as intellgent as IT.

To be honest, I don't expect nearly as much from Gucci compared what I do from an MC like IT. IT is a next level MC compared to Gucci, Gucci just makes music I find myself wanting to listen to more than IT because it's more fun.I had interpreted the thread as who makes music you listen to more often? IT is clearly a better rapper, his music just doesn't always reflect that (THe 3rd World for examples)

EDIT: I just finished Revolutionary Vol. 2, he is definitely more refined on this album than he was before. These beats are still god-awful though, so boring. He makes up for it mostly with his lyrics but some of these beats are almost song-killers, no matter what he says. You Never Know is a great track, a story that I could find myself listening to much more than Dance with the Devi. I don't remember ever hearing it before.
